Description
We are a farm and retreat house for yoga and wellness located in the province of Cádiz. We are part of a cultural and wellness association, and although my husband Quini and I, Esther, primarily live on the property with our animals Tara, Epona, Shiva, and the chickens, some of the association's main members sometimes visit for a few days. The farm is 4,000 m2 and has several buildings that we lovingly maintain. We live near the coast and beautiful beaches in Chiclana de la Frontera, next to a lovely pine forest. It's a popular tourist area during the summer months and much quieter the rest of the year. We would love to welcome you and learn together.
Somos una finca y casa de retiros de yoga y bienestar situados en la provincia de Cádiz. Estamos conformados en una Asociaciòn cultural y bienestar y aunque en la finca vivimos principalmente mi marido Quini y yo Esther con nuestros animales Tara, Epona, Shiva y las gallinas, a veces algunos de los miembros principales de la Asociación también pasa por aquí unos días.
La finca tiene 4.000 m2 y tenemos varias edificaciones que cuidamos y atendemos con mucho mimo. Vivimos cerca de la costa y de hermosas playas en Chiclana de la Frontera. Junto a un bonito bosque de pinos. Es una zona muy turística durante la época estival y mas tranquila el resto del año. Nos encantará darte la bienvenida y que aprendamos junt@s.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Hosting people from other cultures, especially those with prior exchange experiences, is always enriching. We're always open to learning new ways of doing things. There are tons of social and alternative activities in the area, so you'll quickly find groups to enjoy in your free time. We live just a 15-minute drive from town. You'll have access to bicycles if you'd like to explore the surrounding area, and there are a couple of buses that run through the neighborhood daily.
Acoger personas de otras culturas y que además ya han tenido otras experiencias de intercambio va a ser siempre algo enriquecedor. Siempre estamos abiertos a aprender nuevas maneras de hacer las cosas. En la zona hay muuuchas actividades sociales y alternativas, en seguida podrá conectar con grupos para tus ratos libres. Vivimos a tan solo 15 minutos en coche del pueblo. Dispondrá de bicicleta si desea moverse por los alrededores hay un par de autobuses diarios que pasan por el barrio.
Help
This season, we'll primarily need help with gardening, painting, and repairs following last winter's rains. If there are retreats, we also usually lend a hand in the kitchen mainly with the clean up. We work closely with the various members of the Association and their families, and we try to learn from each other.
En esta nueva temporada necesitaremos principalmente ayuda en trabajos de jardinería y en trabajos de pintura y arreglos después de las lluvias de este pasado invierno. Si hay retiros también se suele echar una mano en cocina en limpieza y si el voluntario. Se trabaja mano a mano con los diferentes componentes de la Asociación y de la familia. E intentamos aprender unos de otros.

Accommodation
Depending on the time of your visit, when there are no retreat groups, you can enjoy a room in the house, and when we are full, a tent with a bed. All our spaces are very clean and comfortable, and there are several common areas and a swimming pool that we open from June to October. Bed linens and towels will be provided. Food will always be available for volunteers; sometimes we will offer to cook for those of us staying here, and other times you can cook your own meals with the ingredients we provide. We will take your preferences into account.
Dependiendo del momento de la visita cuando no hay grupos de retiros podrá disfrutar de una habitación en la casa y cuando estamos completos una tienda con cama. Todos nuestros espacios están muy limpios y cómodos y hay varias zonas comunes y una piscina que abrimos de Junio a Octubre. Tendrá ropa de cama y toalla. Siempre habrá comida disponible para la persona voluntaria, en algunas ocasiones ofreceremos cocinar para las personas que estamos y otra veces la persona podrá cocinarse su propia comida con los ingredientes que le proporcionamos. Tendremos en cuenta sus gustos.
What else ...
During your stay, you'll have a bicycle to explore the surrounding area. Occasionally, you can take advantage of our car trips to town or nearby areas to visit those places as well. The tram is just a 10-minute drive or 20-minute bike ride away and will take you to Chiclana, San Fernando, or Cádiz city. The property is a smoke-free space, but if you smoke, we'll show you to a designated smoking area. We are a quiet family with a peaceful, country lifestyle. We are social and sometimes have friends visit, or we host family meals or get-togethers. We have regular yoga classes during the week, and you are welcome to join us if you'd like.
En tu tiempo tendrás una bicleta para moverte por los alrededores, en algunas ocasiones puedes aprovechar nuestros viajes en coche al pueblo o a zonas cercanas para también visitar esos sitios. El tranvia está a tan solo 10 minutos en coche o 20 mins en bicicleta y te lleva a Chiclana, San Fernando o Cádiz capital.
La finca es un espacio libre de humos pero si fumas te indicaremos una zona donde si podrás fumar. Somos una familia tranquila con un estilo de vida campestre y tranquilo. Somos sociales y a veces recibimos la visita de amig@s o realizamos comidas familiares o encuentros. Tenemos clases regulares de yoga durante la semana y estás invitado a participiar si lo deseas.
