    Description

I need an animal-lover who can stay and help with two puppies and two dogs and 6 horses while I am at work. Help cleaning stables, grooming horses, walking dogs etc. Contact me if you are interested.
I saved spaces for people who couldn’t get in at the last minute due to lockdown, so I need help now. If you are here in the country and want to help contact me ASAP thanks. If you need to self isolate and don’t have any symptoms you can come here.
A typical day is have breakfast while I feed animals then about 9-9:30 help me clean stables and turn 2 horses out to the arena. If Im working you watch dogs and puppies, chill out, do some House chores and hang out in the countryside while I go to work.
I love horses and am a vegetarian, and provide vegetarian food only. No dead animals are to be eaten in my home.
I don't have riding school type horses for beginners, but if you are a good rider you can help work horses. I don’t consider riding my horses part of your work, but they are there if you are good riders. I would love someone who could teach me dressage and teach my horses lateral work.
My days off are Tuesdays and weekends those are my 3 free days to play with my horses, explore, garden, play guitar, rest. It takes a week or so to get used to the horses and dogs so someone who wants to stay a month or more is best. Watching dogs is a big part of living in my home so if dogs annoy you please don’t apply! A dog trainer would be useful!
I work as a chiropractor Monday Wednesday Friday 11-7 and
Thursday 2-8, and like workawayers to stay in with my dogs those days while I’m working. You will have free chiropractic care if you like. I'm flexible, not a slave driver, and do my best to help volunteers have fun here. I have even made a few life long friends from workaway.

I am an American living the beautiful country life in Donegal. I settled here in 1996 so I am a bit Irish too!
I live 2 miles from the town of Newtowncunningham, County Donegal. You can get buses from there to nearly anywhere.
County Donegal is lovely and scenic with beautiful beaches. Donegal is a beautiful county to explore, Glenveigh Castle and The Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, and loads of beaches are within an hour-2 bus ride from my home in Newtowncunningham. Derry is only a short drive and is a nice city to visit too. Belfast is a train ride from Derry, very scenic.
If you would like to help me drop me a line thanks.
Of course with covid lockdown measures travel won’t be allowed to too many places😞 this time. But you’ll be in Donegal, heaven on earth.

    Thanks Victoria

Help with animals, computer, cleaning, whatever...you can choose what you want to help out with, I am open to suggestions. I've gotten so much in return from workaways in the past I feel very lucky and open to suggestions. Horses can be dangerous, insurance is recommended. Im not a slave driver, I don't just do workaway to get free help. I love interacting with people from other countries and learning from them. I have hosted over 60 people from all over the world and love hearing their stories.

Nothing too fancy, but the country setting is beautiful. Vegetarian only food provided. Relaxed home with evening fires and plenty of fun! Cold in the winter so dress warmly. This is Ireland raingear essential.

    What else ...

Derry the walled city 15 minutes away. Beach 20 minutes. Glenveigh Castle and National Park 1 hour away. Giants Causeway 1 1/2 hour away. Doagh Island an hour away. Train from Derry to Belfast a nice overnight trip.
My WiFi is slow and unpredictable so you may want to have data for your phone.
