Description
Who would like to spend a great summer, a few months or even a year on a riding farm with a horse riding club and a club for retired horses, two non-profit organisations?
We are a farm and riding club in the north of Berlin near Rheinsberg, in the middle of nature on a beautiful old estate with its own farming acitivities, situated directly on a lake, with a total of 29 horses, and large grounds. Our community is very familiar, international and open-minded, with close cohesion and an active club life, with many children and young people, especially from Berlin. During the holidays, our riding club regularly organises summer horse riding camps. We also have a club for retired horses and a breeding community on our grounds. Our riding club and our club for retired horses are non-profit organisations.
We are looking for someone who would like to spend the summer, a few weeks, months or a whole year with us as part of an FSJ (voluntary social year). Lots of horse riding is guaranteed and accomodation on site can be provided!
In addition, we have a well-equipped workshop on site where everything we need on the farm is built! Also, we do our own gardening projects.
We are a family with four children and the whole project is co-led with our wonderful team on site, our horse riding teacher and our fabulous "Mr. can do it all" (carpentry, craftsmen, gardening, horses)! All of us have a passion for nature & horses .-)
*update September 2023 - we are currently looking for someone who is experienced in training/riding young horses and would be very happy if you would like to be part of the team!*
*update November 2023 - we are also hosting the so-called "FSJ" or "Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr" in our horse riding club for anyone aged between 16 and 27 for any period of time between six months and 12 months. It is a well-structured programme with lots of educational classes in between, free stay and pocket money. Ask us for more information if interested.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You will meet lots of interesting people from Berlin, some with German, some with international background. You will quickly be part of the community! If you come in the summer, you can be part of our wonderful summer camp.
If you know how to ride a horse, you will simply have the time of your life!Help
We are looking for help with the horses and on the grounds, in the garden and the workshop-projects we are doing. The whole project only started last year, so it is still a start-up with many things to do (though already so beautiful due to the nature!).
