    We are an older couple living on a farm on top of a hill within walking distance of Jimena de la Frontera in Andalucia. We grow almonds and have 5 horses.

    We need help to harvest the almonds in September.

    I am Australian, my husband is Irish, we have lived for 45 years in Hong Kong and recently retired to Spain. I speak Spanish, French and a little Cantonese and we know the local area in Cadiz and Malaga provinces quite well.

    Mainly we need help harvesting almonds from about 120 trees. In addition there could be some painting of fences, gates etc around the farm.

    The nearest town, Jimena de la Frontera is a 15 minute walk away. There is extensive hiking in the local area, and this region of Andalucia is full of festivals, archaeological sites and places of historical and cultural interest. The climate in September is cool overnight and warm to hot during the day.
