Description
We are a family of 4 from Ontario, Canada ready to set off on the adventure of our lives. The world will be the classroom to our children as we travel from Aug 2024-Aug 2025. We are looking to exchange culture and grow as a family. We hope to provide you with the same. As well, Danielle (Mom) is an elementary school teacher specializing in teaching in a French immersion program and can provide homeschooling to your children alongside our girls learning. James (Dad) works in healthcare, is handy-ish :) around the home, garden and kitchen and is looking forward to learning new skills. Annabelle (9) is active, loves to read and participate in sports like rock climbing and soccer. Marigold (6) loves to play pretend, using her imagination, enjoys rock climbing and is always on the move. She is also very interested in the many animals we hope to see on our trip.
We are happy to meet you virtually over a video chat to get to know you prior to setting up a stay.

Danielle - French immersion elementary teacher in Ontario, Canada. Has experience in grades 1-5 (6-10 years old) with qualifications in special education, French and intermediate English. Also happy to help around the house with gardening and housework.
James - Works in health care and is an entrepreneur with experience in building businesses but also works with his hands making custom braces. He can help around the home with painting, maintenance, repairs, outdoor work, deck building, landscaping. He is very interested in helping/learning about farming and permaculture. Also enjoys cooking and is more than happy to help in the kitchen.
Annabelle - Would love to help out with younger children by reading books, playing games doing puzzles.
Marigold - Amazing helper in the kitchen, always ready to lick the spoon while baking. A wonderful provider of comic relief.

What else ...
We love to be active. We are open to just about any activity and are wanting to explore new experiences. We are avid skiers, learning to rock climb and enjoy swimming and biking in the summer months.
