Description
Hi! The main project for this year is to make some changes to the exterior of the house, but there are also smaller projects inside the house and outside around the property.
We have an apartment in the house where the plan is to have 2-3 workawayers staying together.

We have had a lot of workawayers here, and it is nice to try some different food and hear how people do things in other countries, and maybe learn a few words.
Many also like to try new and practical things, so hopefully we can both get things done and have a nice time together.
Help
Different things that we could need help with:
Making lunch/dinner, and keep the kitchen and house clean.
Making firewood and other outside jobs on the property.
Help when we will work on upgrading the outside of the house:
- Remove old walls
-Insert windows, insulation, plastic, wind stopper(?), outside walls.
Building: make floor and walls.

Accommodation
There is now an apartment in the basement of the house with bathroom, bedroom og kitchen + living room.
The plan is that workawayers can have breakfast in the apartment, we eat lunch together, maybe have dinner together, and if eat something in the evening you can this by yourself in the apartment. We hope it is ok that you spend much of your free time with workawayers, since we will not always be available to be social during the evenings.
Food: To be able to afford having workawayers I need to keep the costs down, so if you are a bit picky regarding the food, this might not be the right place for you, or you are welcome to buy what you want at the supermarket.
We have much fruits and vegetables and mostly cook vegetarian meals.
What else ...
There are nice places to walk near the house or Kristiansand, you can check the website ut.no for recommendations.
There is a lake where we often go to, and where many go swimming!
Or you can talk to the sheep, pick some berries, borrow the canoe or just relax after a hard days work =)

While I was there most of the work was different kinds of construction, painting and furniture assembling on their cabin as it had to be finished by a certain date. They are very nice couple,very clear about tasks needed to be done,and they live in a quiet and very nice area.The work wasn't hard,and we would take a short walk in the nearby nature after.I'd recommend Kenneth's place to anyone looking for a wholesome way to explore Norway.

I had a really good time with everybody and so much to laugh. There are various working tasks in- & outdoor. And after your stay you will definitely love all kinds of soups:)
