Description
As a professional business we are looking for chefs, waiters or housekeepers and we pay proper wage. But please understand that we will ask you for your experiences, references, we might ask for a CV and also for an interview during the communication with you.
Update 7.4.: In the moment the positions are settled for summer 2025. Things can change, so welcome to contact us anyway. For winter 2026 we ask you to apply from 1st of september onwards.

We can offer a stay in the most wonderful nature area close by nationalparks and nature reserves. It is nature experience we offer - if you are not outside most of your time off you will not benefit from working with us. Think about it before you contact us: Are you an outdoor person or a city person? City persons will not benefit from their stay here...
We provide a proper training in hotel work and fine dining restaurant service, you will get a certificate/ reference from us.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
Helping with all kind of hotel tasks inside and outside. Serving, assisting with cleaning, taking care of the guests. Lots of activities possible, free ski rental, snow shoe rental, bicycle in summer. You have to be a nature and outdoor enthusiasts. Minimum working time 2 months due to professionalism of our place.
Due to norwegian laws and a lot of paper work for work permit, we can only take work awayers from European countries. We are a small team and like to mix the team with different persons. Requests from friends/ couples will always get rejected. Apply as a single person.

High season simple camping cottage. Low season hotel room. Shared accommodation with one other person of the same gender. Please make sure you are comfortable with that!
There is no own kitchen for our team - but you are invited to the hotels breakfast buffet pluss our chefs cook a nice dinner for us every day. All other times of the day you can find food/ make a lunch package. But: Please understand that we can not make special dinners, so if you have to have special food/vegan/vegetarian needs we ask you to apply at places where you can make your own food.

In winter you can go skiing or snowshoe walking and in summer climbing the mountains, paddling on the river or sitting somewhere and watching the beautiful scenerey. Left by host for Workawayer (Gesine)
Gesine started as a workawayer at our hotel in winter 2010 and did such a great job, that we offered her an employment for summer 2010 also, which was a right decision. She left us in autumn for other work, but we would always employ her again!
