Description
The House of Books at the end of the World is just that. A house on a stormy cape on an amazing island just at the end of Europe. We want to make it the first house telling stories, for humans who want to tell stories. Our organisation and this place will become our base. There are 2 houses on the property and we are restoring the old house as a house of books at the end of the World, a place that tells the story of the island and the area in the Arctic. As you can see, I am a sailor and I have been sailing in northern Norway for years, so I decided, together with my girlfriend, to buy a house in a very remote area that could act as a base mainly for travellers, skiers, sailors and writers.

Our guests will learn what is life at the end of the World. They will have a unique opportunity to discover the culture and the traditions of the people living in these remote areas. Moreover Vannøya has amazing mountains and treks for the free time. Once a week we also go sailing as we have a sailboat.

The property has 2 houses and our guests will sleep in one of the 4 bedrooms of the house...(we try to make private rooms for singles possible); couples have their own room.
We do not provide food and alcoholic drinks, but we always try to arrange that we divide cooking/food preparations and table, like in a family ;-)

The island of Vannøya, where the mountain meets the sea, is a paradise for mountain and nature lovers, anglers and an oasis for body and soul.
