Description
Hi there! My name is CQ
Im from Singapore and in 2023, I’m training to be a pilot for my dream career. Been doing workaway for several years in the past and trying to find pockets of time to explore more places!
A little about me: Having grown up in the small city life of Singapore, Im always fascinated by the world out there and places I can explore. After my college studies in mechanical engineering, I took a gap year to backpack Asia, Europe and Africa. While travelling, I came across workaway projects and it has totally changed the way I travel! It allowed me to spend more time with locals and help out with interesting projects which were some of the best experiences in my life. From then on, I became a huge fan of workaway.
Some of my workaway experiences:
-Bamboo harvesting in Shizouka, Japan, 2017
-Hostel work in Osaka, Japan, 2017
-Organic Farming in Yilan, Taiwan, 2017
-Cabin lodge construction in Joensuu, Finland, 2017
-English summer camp in Barnual, Russia, 2017 (My fav!)

-Camping assistance in Rhodes Island, Greece, 2017
-Guesthouse work in Ezuz, Israel, 2017
-Private school teaching in Rusinga Island, Kenya, 2018
-Hostel work in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, 2018
-Brewery and bartending work in Nieu Bethesda, South Africa, 2018
-Revamping vehicle project in Oosteind, Netherlands, 2018
-Cafe assistance in Hanno, Japan, 2019
-Family farm work in Yukon, Canada, 2021
