PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Hello Volunteers!
Would you like to know the green heart of Italy?
If you like outdoor life, nature and you are not scared from physical work outside….
We need great help for pruning and trimming in the park and in the olive groves, in the garden and in the field.
We must say that we need some experience to manual work and we do appreciate skills for small maintenance work as painting or tailoring or small carpentery and cleaning when necessary.
We work hard and a good energy and attitude would be greatly appreciated .
In the good season we have some activities and events happening at the Villa
We are involved at the moment with a great project of park restauration and all this year there will be a lot of activities in the park to help and support. In the good season we will have some activities and events happening at the Villa too.
We can provide full board accommodation ( accommodation and food ) sometime meals will be shared and pepared from the staff but some time you will have to cook your own food we will provide for.
Contact us for any question and certainly to meet before deciding , we will be glad to explain you everything .
We will be happy to host you but we really would like you to be happy to come .
We would prefer e minimum 3 weeks staying. The Villa complex is big and complicate.
It could need a little time to be able to be helpful.
In your free time you’ll be plenty of unique places to visit in the surroundings:
Spoleto, Trevi, Montefalco ( and its wine tasting tours!), Assisi, Spello,Perugia (They can be easily reached by train), and the Trasimeno lake, really deserve to be seen! Or, if you prefer, you can just walk around, enjoying the landscapes and the relax of the Umbria countryside!
Our Cultural Association, a non profit organization, was set up to develop over several years a number of medium and long term programs for the upkeep, promotion and enhancement of the Villa.
The Association's main objectives are the protection, restoration and maintenance - ordinary and extra-ordinary, of the Historical Heritage (buildings and decorations of the Villa monumental complex and the park adjacent to the complex) and of the natural environments around it.
We maintain the huge park and all the historical organic olive groves around the Villa ( the protection of the landscape and the historic and artistic merit of the Villa complex and the park have been officially recognized by the National Commission for Italy's Cultural Heritage. )
We work to recover the life of this environment and the cultural importance of this special place hoping to contribute to a general interest in the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Umbria Region.

The Italian beauty, the kindness and hard work of our team, some good food and some cooking , the italian language and some cultural human exchange .

The historical park and the olive grove are our main consitent commitment.
We need great help in the park all year around . In the summertime we may need help in public activities.
We have many many different duties and projects we could need help.
VERY IMPORTANT FOR US, very useful is the OLIVE pruning and HARVEST in the organic fields around the park - in spring and from the end of october to the end of November . For the harvest we welcome groups in a very nice country farm within the estate , we provide great Italian lunches and nice environment for a special working vacation FROM THE END OF OCTOBER TO THE END OF NOVEMBER. In the summertime , when the agricultural side is not too workable as it' s quite hot, we need help in the garden and in the house with all possible activities happening at the Villa.

The region is beautiful. Nature and culture are the most important facilities in the area. Great food everywhere. Nice town to visit as SPOLETO, ASSISI, TREVI, MONTEFALCO,PERUGIA. We are quite close from ROME ; h1,30 by train . In the fall we have the special situation of the OLIVE HARVEST which is a nice experience to enjoy.
We will need information about you in advance and it would be necessary an accident insurance policy for the time you will be staying. If you don't have one, we can help to set it up.
Unless otherwise decided in particular cases, 2 WEEKS is the MINUMUM STAY that we can accept.
