    Description

Our theatre company, has a unique theatre venue -- a 30 meter tall ship. We have been touring contemporary professional theatre for 50 years. Its innovative theatrical productions, performed on to the deck and in the rigging of the ship, has toured internationally: Canada, USA, Europe and the Mediterranean. We are not a cruise ship. The shows incorporate music, drama, poetry, video projections, cinematic sequences and large puppets.

The company is working on a new show, a story of love & loss in a bizarre yet prophetic forthcoming automated world, was planned to tour 2020, then in 2021 but all has been cancelled due to Covid 19. This show, an ambitious spectacle embodying the themes surrounding the ethics of artificial intelligence, will now premiere in the summer of 2022 and tour at sea side locations along the Salish Sea.

Workaway helpers may be welcome to stay on the ship in Victoria on Vancouver Island to assist with the work on the theatre set, some administration, especially anyone who has experience in book keeping. Help is also needed with the Cooking & Shopping for the crew on board.

We strive to foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all people. We create a community, and we intentionally welcome all. We value the diversity of ethnic and cultural identity and background, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity and its expression. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with each other.
