  • Description

Our theatre company, is a most unique theatre venue -- a 30 meter tall ship. We have been touring contemporary professional theatre for over 45 years. Its innovative theatrical productions on to the deck and in the rigging of a Ship Theatre that has been touring internationally: Canada, USA, Europe and the Mediterranean. We are NOT a cruise ship.

From April to October 2019 the company will be working on ship maintenance and working on future shows and tours for the 2020 Production, that will take place in Pacific NW. During this time we are looking for people who can help with the either Administration & Fundraising, Fundraising and Web design or Cooking & Shopping for a small crew on board.

This is a great learning experience and a chance to work with theatre professionals in an unusual setting: a large ship yard on the Fraser River just outside of Vancouver .

We strive to foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all people. We create a community, and we intentionally welcome all. We value the diversity of ethnic and cultural identity and background, nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity and its expression. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to form meaningful connections with each other.

They will be a part of a unique experience that involves people working and living together in a beautiful west coast environment. Travelers will learn skills: in administration, lots to learn in alternative fundraising and product solicitation.
The shows we produce are original and thought provoking with a political or social message, check out website.

  • Help

From May to end of December 2019, the ship will be painted, refitted and repaired. During that time, we will be needing help with repairing the woodwork, metal fabrication, administration, fundraising and public relations on social media and web updates on the company's website. Another important person is needed to shop and prepare meals for up to 12 people who will be eating lunch on board.
The Producer and Artistic Director will be working to oversee the refit project and on organizing the production for the next show in 2020.
