Hello Workaway Family,
I am a passionate traveler who has been on the road for nearly a year, exploring 15 countries during that time. This adventure has not only given me the chance to see new places but has also made me adaptive, eager to learn, and quick to manage challenges.
Throughout my travels, I've gained practical experience in various fields, including gardening, minor repair work (handyman tasks), childcare, general cleaning, and simple construction. I am ready to put these skills to use for a new host.
My goal in joining Workaway is not just to find accommodation, but to discover new cultures, build deep human relationships, and enhance my personal development. I am specifically looking to gain deeper knowledge and skills in gardening and general repair work.
What I'm looking for: A work environment filled with respectful and positive people where I can forge good friendships. As an experienced traveler of one year and 15 countries, I have developed strong adaptability and practical, 'hands-on' skills from my time on the road. I am highly eager to learn and can jump into new tasks quickly.

Gardening & Landscaping: Basic experience with weeding, planting, watering, general yard maintenance, and preparing garden beds. I am especially keen to develop my skills in this area.

Prior to arrival/agreement of stay, all e-communications seemed positive and enthusiastic. . .as I planned for actual arrival, my FT schedule mandated that an evening arrival was necessary, on one of two weeknights, for this WA guest to select from; and, as a"same day" alert his selected arrival day, I gave specific train number and departure time… read more for the appropriate arrival time; at the appropriate station stop; and was met with a text: "purchased ticket for earlier train". . .which should have been my warning; but as a conscientious host, I allowed for language & jet-lag influences to this differing nature of communication; and persisted in noting I was only able to meet-n-greet if he took the specified train; even photos of the non-existent station; noting the rainy weather being not good for a wait there; and offered, I could not otherwise arrange for his "that" evening arrival; but could defer until several days after (due to other/personal & work commitments of this host). . .he reluctantly agreed to not arrive to the non-developed station (after receipt of texted photos and several encouraging messages) at the earlier time (which was not only inconvenient, but incapable, for me) and to take the train per my initial communication of that day. . .(the series of exchanges was both time-consuming and emotionally exhausting; on a "day of" arrival. . .for which he seemed to have no consideration. . .) so, that apparently set the tone for the stay; which includes my realization #redacted# for the entirety of his stay; which he CUT SHORT; by possibly a week; or a month; depending on which communication I trusted. . .alerting me, only after I had departed for my FT workday/Friday; which would have been his 5th day of 5 hr work tasks prior to two days of time off. . .in a great guest suite, in a great house in a great historic neighborhood, next door to a great state park where walking/hiking/biking (via a loaner bicycle and helmet, I offer!!) in nature awaited; with his note of "hopes" that gives me enough time to find a replacement for daily chicken-tending (a priority of work tasks when hosted at my home. . .which he noted he had "already fed" but whose food (i asssembled prior to going to work!) remained in the kitchen upon my return from an 8 hr work day and 1 hr commute!!!) so, no happy outside time for the hens today; when I have an evening commitment (which I had to cancel) and had prepared breakfast/lunch/dinner offerings for this unreliable WA guest who, as well, did NOT secure my home (by not locking the front door) upon his unscheduled/early/unexpected departure around 9-10 am; so sad, that a 38 year old acts so much like a #redacted text#

Andrijana and Nikola are very cute and lovely couple. They are very hospitality. It was very fantastic experience with them. This time was my second experience in Serbia and I didn't regretful it. They have three pretty children and I won't forget the time when sharing with together.
