Hi, my name is Monika. I'm a calm and easy-going person, I have communication and collaboration skills which help me do the job of a teacher. I teach English to secondary school students.
My dream is to visit a few countries all over the world, explore new cultures, meet new people and admire unspoiled natural sites.
The best way to relax for me is being active outdoors while hiking, jogging or cycling.
As I grew up and I've been living in the countryside, I'm used to being close to nature, Doing gardening and looking after plants is enjoyable and helps me keep fit.

Apart from having English communication skills, I can cook and bake quite well. I can also help you in the garden and do housework. Dealing with children and teenagers is a part of my job, so I'm quite familiar with that too. I have a dog and a cat I can take care of yours.
Learning new skills has always been my goal so I would really love to learn new ones while travelling.

We have had a wonderful experience with our very first “workaway” team. Nothing was too much trouble and the garden and house have had the best spring clean ever! Hard working and committed to any task given . Would not hesitate to host again and recommend highly to others . Polish dinner was incredible !!!

I spent a week at Philippa and Mark's quaint farm nestled among rolling hills and beautiful Kauri and Manuka trees. I spent only a week at Kylie's place, but I wish I had stayed longer. I didn't waste a minute there while being constantly engaged in different activities in the garden, or visiting nearby attractions with Kylie or her parents. If you like gardening and want to learn more about sustainable and healthy lifestyle, choose the place.
