Hey there,
I am Loys. While working as a dog sledding guide in Lapland, I discovered the existance of Workaway. The power of workaway, in my opinion, is that I can combine my favorourite hobbies: traveling, meeting new people, discovering new cultures, learning languages and being useful in a kind of way.
Looking forward new adventures, wandering around!
I would like to figure out what I think is inportant in cooporation and society. I think workaway is a perfect way to learn more about this question by just doing it.
Before I started my job as a dog sledding guide, I have been working as a psychomotor therapisch. This therapy is a body and movement-oriented methods to increases skills as bodyawarenes and emotionregulation for people with all kind of mental illnesses.
While styding I have been travelling a lot. Just to discover more about myself and the world, but also to study abroad and for charity work.
After finishing university, I started working as a psychotherapist in jail. I am also self employeed as and outdoor psychomotor therapist. In this therapy method combine psychotherapy and outdoor sports. The outdoor intervention could be everything from surfing to rockclimbing or cooking on a campfire. The most important thing is the pychological added value of the activity.
During the covid period I invested my spare time in building my own van. I sold it after traveling a for a while, but my biggest wish was to build a second one abroad. So right before departing to my first workaway job in Finland I bough my little house on wheels. It is a work in progress and I would love to share this proces with people all around the world. I love to take my van to a workway job and ideally we could build it all together. Sharing knowledge and fun while creating a van and lovely moments.
See ya,

More details about your skills
I have studies psychomotor therapy. After finishing university I worked at several places with al kind of mental and physical illnesses and therapy methods. I am also self employed.
My urge to travel was born when I was 14. I went to school in the UK, Spain and Germany when I was in high school and university.
I think am a hard working self reflecting woman who had a big desire to learn everything. Actually sometime I wish I was already able to do everything. That desire could come together with a feeling of insecurity. Most of time this feeling is the fuel to the urge to learn, do and go out of my comfort zone.
I think the study I did and the experience I have resulted in a developing of a couple of skills. Such as: observing, helping other, asking for help, self-awareness and empathic ability.
If I feel that my skills are not enough for a task I am asked to do, I ll directly tell and be honest about my boundaries and abilities.
I like working outdoors, in cooperation or alone, with human or animals; as long as the working ethics are satisfied, I am as well.Age

I can only try to put my experience into words, knowing that no single word can capture the beauty of it all.
