Hi, I am Joanna from Poland.I am a mother of two adult boys who don't reguire my care of that much, so I decided to be a volunteer for a Workaway.I want to expirience something new and learn new languages.
I love traveling,knowing new places , habits and traditions.I am friendly, helpful, positive pearson with sence of humor.Expirienced in taking care of children (my own one),house and garden as I used to be a housewife for 24 years.Good in cooking, better in baking.I am also experienced in taking care about elder people, my mother in low, and my father in their sickness. Latelly I was working in a cafe as barista/ waitress. I am very keen on reading books in my free times.I love animals .
I have some wonderful eksperience as a workawayer from a gesthouse in Italy. Now I am very open and enthusiastic to this new challenge.
From February 2022 I was leaving in Iceland Reykjavik helping a family with house chores and errands such as cooking ,cleaning ,loundry,schoping,taking care of a child.
I also had a part time job in a caffe as a barista and waiter using english as my icelandic was still poor.. I start learning spanish as I wanted to travel through South America.
During my journey in South America I gained new skills, I know how to take care about tropical plants ,how to grow coffee, I can prepare some typical food like empanadas,patacones or quesadilas.I have learned how to baked alfajores and sourdough bread.I even got some experience in carpentery.Of course I have learned some Spanish.

I was so lucky to have possibility to immerse in e peacefull life of Vincenza, Salao and Their "family". Observing their respectful attitude towards animals and surrounding nature was tuching.

Joanna has been an amazing volonteer. She got quickly how to help us, she was always pleasant, nice, she spent time with my 4 years old boy. She's a hardworker, discrete and efficient.
