Tienna spent a couple of weeks with us in February, and was a fabulous person to host. We learned so much from her while she was here, and she was brilliant in helping out around the place. She is practical, smart, sees what has to be done before you even ask. We really enjoyed hosting her, and appreciated her very much. We wish Tienna all the very best in her future, and would recommend her to any host lucky enough to be messaged by her.

This was one of a kind experience for me and I am endlessly thankful to Daeli and the others for this opportunity. I got to paint the walls as a mural artist and everyone loved it, so that was sweet! While it is accurate to the description and pictures, don't romaticize sailing. It is hard and not always comfortable, but it is also challenging and fun. The boat is in a good enough condition to sail and we as volunteers were improving it every day by fixing and renovating the space. The boat does not have a bathroom, this is an important piece of information that should be included in the description. Also, sailing is popular in French community, so not knowing French will be a challenge for you while sailing. But other than that you'll get to learn so many things for free while sharing costs for food and water. You can definitely trust these people with your life and money.

My experience with Sofia was really amazing. As we met in the days that I was new in host volunteers but she was a super kind. Yes I guided her just because it was my country but she took me to Zanzibar the land in which it was my first time to be there so we were guiding each other 🤣😂 They were funny moments there, she is a super girl, full of energy and charming. She more listen and very easy to cope with new environment. You will never regret to work and stay with her. I wish her good luck in her next adventures Teacher Boaz

Jeremias was a wonderful volunteer! He was proactive and helpful. He helped with the daily classes and also did a special activity about the stars which the kids loved! It was great having him with us!

Elina was a lovely volunteer! She helped with the daily classes and the extra activities like the carnival. She was helpful and kind to the teachers and the other volunteers. We would love to host her again

It was such a pleasure to host Felizitas for a month. She is so kind, creative, communicated well, took responsibility for her tasks, and was respectful of the shared living space. She is trustworthy and took great care of our dogs, took initiative with all tasks and went above and beyond. We are very hopeful she will come back to stay with us. A 10 out of 10 for her! From creative art projects to construction, to cooking and cleaning, social media for our project, and great company! I would welcome her back again and highly recommend her to others.

I had a magical experience here. The nature, the people, the food, the creative environment, so grateful for all of it! The accommodation was great (I lived in the volunteer building). Volunteer tasks were clear and engaging, and there was still plenty of time to do other things like painting in the studio, going for a walk in nature, socialize, play the guitar - Whatever floats your boat! Can't recommend this place enough, will really miss it.

Vijaya, Gopala, and everyone else made me feel like one of the family. I'm grateful for the openness and generosity I felt from the invitation into their lives an home. Their devotion to the local community, to the forest, and to their family was one of the most humbling and inspirational dedications I've ever witnessed. The food was incredible, as was the nature and the family's company. Thanks for sharing a few weeks of your lives with me. I'll be following the story of the community for a lifetime 🙏🏻

It was a pleasure to spend time with them. Even when I had to leave on a trip before their stay ended, they remained committed and responsible until the very end. What can i say, exceptional, perfect, the best workawayer we've ever had. She's skilled in cooking, cleaning, kids. She's a pleasure to be around. I miss her, every time we read a thanksgiving book it ends with "what are you gratefully for?" & my 4 year old daughter always says, Ale (usually 1st). She felt like family. I hope other families treat her exceptionally because she is exceptional. Personally she felt like my sister, & I miss her a lot.

Kaat y Lode estuvieron con nosotros durante tres semanas y fue una experiencia muy agradable contar con ellos. Siempre estuvieron dispuestos a colaborar en las tareas que necesitábamos, ya fuera en la huerta, limpieza, recepción y, sobre todo, aportando su arte. Son realmente talentosos y nos ayudaron mucho a embellecer nuestro espacio. Valoramos mucho su compañía; si tienen la oportunidad de recibirlos, no se van a arrepentir. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaat and Lode stayed with us for three weeks, and it was a very pleasant experience having them here. They were always willing to help with any tasks we needed, whether in the garden, cleaning, reception, and especially through their art. They are truly talented and helped us greatly in beautifying our space. We really appreciated their company — if you have the chance to host them, you won’t regret it.

We really enjoyed hosting Yuki for 1 month. She is a very sweet girl, smiling, helpsom and polite. Very kind and easy going. She helped with many practical things in housekeeping, but also chopping the wood and looking after the animals/pets. We would gladly host her igen in the future.

Dear Anne, it was a wonderful experience spending time with you. I already miss our conversations, and I'm happy that I'll have the opportunity to host you again in the spring. Anne is an incredibly cultured and understanding person. I was very comfortable with how calm, peaceful, and constructive she was during our time together. A huge thank you to Viviana for her three weeks of hard work! She tackled cleaning and reorganizing projects that were a massive help to us as we prepare for our move to another country. We’re glad she enjoyed the unique character of the house, even if the exceptionally bad weather made for a quieter stay than usual. I stayed with Emel for about a month and experienced truly wonderful hosting. From the very beginning, she made me feel welcome and comfortable in her home. I had a really great time staying with Emel and her little son, I received a lot of positive energy from both of them, and I genuinely enjoyed the time we spent together. During my stay, I always tried to do my tasks carefully and responsibly, and to complete everything in the best possible way. It was important for me to contribute properly and support the project as much as I could. I hope the renovation project will be completed very soon and successfully. I had the pleasure of hosting Ori from Israel as a Workawayer during January 2026, and I can wholeheartedly say it was an excellent experience. Ori is an intelligent, thoughtful, and genuinely interesting person. Conversations with him were always enriching, and he brought a very positive energy into the house. He is open-minded, curious, and easy to live with, which made his stay particularly enjoyable. When it comes to work, Ori is highly motivated and takes real pride in doing things properly. He was always willing to help, never hesitated to take initiative, and consistently aimed to do his very best. He mainly took care of the dog, showing great responsibility and kindness, and handled a variety of outdoor tasks such as weeding, shredding wood, and washing the car with efficiency and care. He also helped with indoor cleaning, completing everything thoroughly and without needing supervision. Ori is reliable, proactive, respectful, and trustworthy. He approaches tasks with seriousness and dedication, while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. Any host would be lucky to have him. I would welcome him back anytime and recommend him without hesitation.
