    Description

    Hello

We are currently looking for workawayers to help out in our garden and help maintain our property

We are looking for the following tasks:
-Gardening (maintaining a 9,000 sqm garden and watering)
    -DIY (small repairs and maintenance)
    -Cleaning and tidying

    Our ideal workawayer will be:
    -Mature
    -Independent and proactive
    -Hardworking
    -Creative in decorating
-Tolerant and respectful - to humans and especially animals

You will be sharing the house with visiting artists, but you will have a private room with an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen and living room will be shared.

In exchange for your time and help (20 hours a week), we will supply you with free accommodation.
We ask for a minimum stay of 4 weeks. If this all goes well, we can consider long term.

    ********************************************************************************************

We are a creative couple from London, well technically one Austrian and one British, and are working on our dream of creating a not-for-profit artistic centre here. One of us is a furniture designer and the other a writer. We speak English, German and Spanish, and a little bit of all sorts of other languages, as we've travelled extensively.

We run a vegetarian/vegan household, have four puppies and one cat.

We are located in the middle of the Sea of Olives with no neighbours for miles, but we are by a main road (so it can get quite noisy sometimes) just outside Úbeda, a UNESCO world heritage site, which is only 10 minutes by car.

The whole area offers cultural activities, as well as plenty of options to explore nature in the two national parks nearby. We're also pretty close to Granada and the coast.

We are not near public transport, but we can help with local transport when we are available. We will also arrange at least two weekly trips into town for all your shopping needs. Walking to Úbeda up a steep hill would take about 1.5 hours.
