Description
We are a legal NGO located in the city of Iquitos founded in 2018, that collaborates with the community and makes meaningful positive changes for the present generations!
Our mission is to empower kids and teenagers through education in after-school activities by wisely developing their skills and talents. Providing them of a great space to learn and to create beautiful things.
We are looking for great and productive volunteers to take the opportunity to help many students while exploring and discovering this magnificent area!
We need your help with different tasks such as:
- Cooperation.
- Interaction.
- Maths lessons.
- English lessons.
- Communication.
- Marketing ideas.
- Photo and Video Production.
- Loving and caring.
We ask for just 16 working hours per week, you can order the schedules to your preference and you can choose what activities are best for you!
We are looking forward to receiving your help for continue improving the school for the greatness of the future of the next generations!

You will have plenty of time to explore and to enjoy the area. There is a lot to do in Iquitos! The city is known as the gateway to the jungle and as the largest city in the world that can only be reached by plane or boat.
You can experience many activities like hiking, kayaking or exploring around with the host family. Enjoying local events and festivals. Going to the downtown mall to watch a movie or to enjoy a meal in a delicious restaurant, and much more.!
The volunteering hours are flexible and can be designed to your preference!

Help
The impact you can make is enormous: Most kids come from poor communities with their hopes and dreams to grow and to improve.
Helping in the day-to-day classes, empowering the kids, and assisting in developing programs and workshops are our main focuses.
There are many ways that we could use your help:
*Teaching classes to the children (arts and crafts, sports, music, supporting our English teacher, supporting our math teacher, etc.)
* Leading workshops for local teenagers (such as yoga, dance, health etc..)
* Helping with administration and preparing teaching materials.
*Helping in social media and graphic design projects.
* Supporting the local activities and helping in events organization.
* Construction projects.
* As a social worker or psychologist looking for a long term internship.
We are looking for great and productive volunteers who like to spend time with kids, who can create and lead projects, and who are independent and responsible.
An intermediate level of Spanish is ideal for having a better communication with the teachers and the students. This will ensure a better experience for you and the team!

Accommodation
You will have the opportunity to stay with a lovely local family while experiencing the Amazonian way of life!
The accommodation consists of a shared room, a fast Wi-Fi connection, and a common area with a kitchen and a living room.
We ask for a contribution of just $5 per day, to cover the expenses of the house and to provide you a delicious local breakfast everyday!
*Important: the water is cold. Notice that in this area the temperature is quite high so it’s better to take cold showers.*
