Gabin y Laura fueron voluntarios maravillosos para recibir. Son personas muy agradables, cercanas y fáciles de convivir. Siempre fueron muy respetuosos con el espacio y con todos aquí. Desde el primer día mostraron una disposición genuina para ayudar y aportar en lo que hiciera falta. Trabajaron con buena actitud y siempre estuvieron contentos de colaborar. Más allá del trabajo, disfrutamos mucho su presencia aquí. Trajeron una energía tranquila y positiva, y fue realmente un gusto compartir el día a día con ellos. Los volvería a recibir sin dudarlo y los recomiendo totalmente a cualquier anfitrión.

Hosted Flor for three months . We had many jokes together as Flor has a great sence of humor . She helped with the cleaning , ironing , washing and the making off the guests bedrooms , She fell in love with our dog ( Bruno) and my daughter's dog ( sebi) gave them their medication and food at the precise times . Flor helped me big time with our internet web site and social media , She rebranded my Logo, We are much thankful and appreciate of Flor for her work and dedication to her work here , Bruno and Sebi are missing you already and you are gone only a day .Wish you all the best in your travels you will always be welcome here.

I had a wonderful time volunteering here! It’s an amzing place, with lovely people and a beautiful large garden. There is a lot to learn and discover on the farm, the kind and knowledgeable staff members are happy to explain everything. I learned a lot about different plants, like the shiva eye tree and coffee tree’s. The process of coffee picking, drying and roasting is super interesting. It’s a super good opportunity to see traditional nepalese village life, and beautiful nature, with mountains made into terraces, and all kinds of birds flying around. The work is interesting and diverse (depending on the season of course), I was here in end February, the coffee harvest season. On my free day I went hiking with one of the staff members, this was a super good experience! I saw a lot of villages, stupa’s and temples. The food is super tasty, healthy and abundant👌🏼 It's is a very clean place, good toilet and hot shower, and very comfortable room. All in all I would really recommend this place for anyone who is looking to learn more about organic farming, nepalese village life, nepalese ecosystem and meet wonderful people❤️

This was my first Workaway experience and as someone who doesn't like Public Speaking, in the end I was Happy to see how I overcame my fears of doing the tours. The ladies that run the Restaurant/Shop are the sweetest, very motherly and their cooking is amazing. The kids that hang around are the cutest, always laughing and playing - Reminding you to cherish the simple things. The owners of the farm are also very down to earth and offer words of encouragement should you need it. All and All, I appreciate my time here - I Will miss the Beautiful Views of the Surrounding Area!

Two weeks turned into over three months. In the end, I found a kind of home here. I was warmly welcomed and immediately fell in love with Anca's cooking. Together with Alexandra, I helped with or independently carried out many different projects on the grounds and in the house. From painting and building to harvesting and tending to driving tractors and balancing 😉 There is always work to be done, so you usually have the choice of what you want to do. I quickly took the people and animals into my heart, integrated myself and celebrated at parties. It was a very special time for me and I will definitely come back. You don't often find such great places and people in this world.

had the honour of being Elaine’s first Workawayer! I can guarantee that you will not only feel safe, but also be very well taken care of. “Nobody starves in this house,” as Elaine says. She is easygoing and very open to meeting new people. She warmly opens her home to you and makes you feel at ease straight away. I had my own bedroom and even a private bathroom. I worked in the garden, walked the dog (going to miss lovely Vegas!), and helped around the house. Tasks may vary depending on what needs to be done and the talents you bring. I had a wonderful time with Elaine.

Really hardworking couple , who helped me so much at my place. Very independent with tasks and responsibilities. Enjoyed them staying a great deal 🤩

Yulinn was incredibly helpful and truly a multitalent. She knows how to cook, clean, and gets along wonderfully with the kids. Her patience, cheerfulness, and calm nature made everything so much easier for me and more enjoyable. She especially loves baking and surprising everyone with desserts, which of course the kids really appreciate!

My time at Lorenzo's house in Gavoranno was so special, being a solo female traveler he made me feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. We worked about five hours a day cleaning the front entry to the house but the time flew by, overlooking the mountains in the Tuscan sun. We shared our meals together (what a great cook!), talked about life, and I am lucky to be able to call Lorenzo my friend. What a pleasure to be in nature with such good company. The work was fulfilling and since the property is quite large, I'm happy I was able to contribute in a meaningful way. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves gardening and is ready to get their hands dirty :) Thanks so much for everything Lorenzo!

I was hosted by Michelle for the month of February. It was a wonderful experience! Michelle is a wonderful person and very helpful. You can see his passion for animals. Cats are wonderful, you can't help but get attached as well as dogs. The work I did at the sanctuary, if you can call it that, was cleaning and cuddling the animals. The apartment that Michelle kindly provided me has everything and is by the sea. I highly recommend having an experience with her, I have learned a lot about animals and Thai culture, I will definitely be back one day. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart Michelle!

Fran is a delightful workaway, easy going, organised and efficient and a very good house and pet sitter. We had total confidence in her and were able to leave animals and house in very capable hands. She was very helpful in creating websites and updating promotional materials on Canva. Fran inspired us by finishing writing her second book and we wish her every success for the future.

Antonio y Viola son una pareja joven, discreta y tranquilla. Hemos pasado casi 2 meses juntos y hemos logrado coger nos cariño y acabar una larga lista de mantenimiento. Antonio es muy profesional y autónomo con tareas de pintura, electricidad y también en el campo con la motosierra, desbrozadora y cualquier herramienta. Viola destaca en cuestiones de informática y redes pero está dispuesta a realizar cualquier otra cosa.

We really loved our volunteering experience with Mumbi in Kilifi. We helped her put up a fence, make a path, built composting boxes and little tasks here and there. We stayed for 2 months and wish we could have stayed forever. Mumbi was always recommending us things to do in the area and even showing us around the area, she is super fun and always there to help you. The accommodation was super nice, a comfortable room with an ensuite, common area with a fully equipped kitchen. If your looking for a really fun time with a nice host I highly recommend this Workaway. Thanks again Mumbi for everything, we will miss The Shamba Community and Miss Potato. All the best xxxx

I had a lovely time with Aine. She showed me markets, cafés and alternative restaurants/cinemas in the neighbourhood. We had nice morning walks with coffe and talks. She is a direct and open person, with a big knowlege and interest about health. The work was reasonable and times where flexibel. I had enough time to go out on my own and discover the city. She also helped me hire a bicycle at the station for a cheap price. This allowed me to explore the city even better.

It was an absolute pleasure and privilege to have the opportunity to stay with Rima and Dennis for what was meant to be two weeks, but they kindly let me stay for an extra week and a half due to a slightly silly incident on my part (gentle reminder: don’t drop your phone down a long drop toilet!). I was so grateful for their flexibility and kindness. From the moment I arrived at their beautiful home, they made me feel comfortable. They are full of personality and humour and also a super close knit family. It was really special to see their values lived out so naturally and carried through the generations. There is no doubt Rima is incredibly knowledgeable about Māori culture and was always happy to answer any questions, which made our dinner conversations really enjoyable. I really enjoyed the chance to learn more and be part of such a welcoming community. They were always clear and helpful when giving work, and I got to experience a range of tasks. I appreciate that they helped me learn a lot through the tasks they set me, and I have them to thank for why my CV is so full now 😆. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ngā mihi nui, ka kite anō!

Luciana is a gem! She goes about her business in a quite pleasant way, very thorough,very caring with children and animals. Would just say would like to see her speaking a bit more so that she can improve on her English. Would welcome her back again with open arms 🤗 100%

Lorena and Damiano were an absolute joy to have with us! They brought such positive, vibrant energy and were always ready to jump in and help with anything that needed doing. It truly felt like a real cultural exchange. We had so many beautiful conversations and learned so much about each other’s cultures and ways of living. Even without a shared language, the kitchen staff and everyone on the farm connected with them so easily. We were honestly so sad to see them leave so soon. The place feels quieter after they left. We really hope they come back one day! We can highly recommend them to other hosts without hesitation. They are kind, hardworking, respectful, and bring wonderful energy wherever they go. And special bonus: they made the tastiest homemade pasta from scratch!

Órla is a most kind and overwhelming person I ever met. I mean she modestly influenced my life and my project. I seriously think she deserves to lead people to new great life in future, like people should listen her very humble opinion on questions of life. I really appreciated the time we spent together. House and apartment are shining, my mind is cleared, my soul is calm. Thank you, Orla , have a great trips and you are always welcome in Almaty.

We spent the most incredible week with Kristy, Danny and Billy. They could not have been kinder or given us a better experience. We shared some great times together joining the family for waka ama, fishing, play centre, kiwi walks, and lovely meals together. We were so sad to leave!! The work away tasks were really varied which was great. Spending time with Billy was a joy. Would highly recommend staying with Kristy, Danny and Billy. They are a beautiful family with huge hearts.
