We are a traditional irish family who love getting to know people from all over the world and making friends. We have a wide variety of animals on the farm. We have fresh milk every morning from the cows, have fresh eggs every day from the hens. We also have an a aviary with a selection of different breeds and lastly African pygmy goats. We have had a great mix of helpers over the years and we are all still in contact regularly and we remain firm friends with some of them. They come for a social farming stay for 2 months and end up staying for 6 😉 Presently,we are looking for one or two people aged 25 + (insured to drive our car) who are seeking a cultural experience on our rural working farm.👍 A minimum stay of one month is desirable.

The workawayer will be very much part of the family. There are lots of different activities on this farm so it is a wonderful way of learning new skills. There are a lot of people coming and going on the farm. No 2 days are the same. You can also practice your english and enjoy the green island. We are near a village where you can find a friendly pub, a community centre, church, etc. Newcastle West is 6 km, where you can get a bus to Limerick, Galway, Clare, Dublin, etc.
