Description
We welcome helpers, age 19 years upwards, to work alongside us to help in the daily running of our bed and breakfast. We require a minimum of one month commitment, You must be outgoing, energetic, hardworking and have English
Tasks would be to help serving breakfast in the morning and then cleaning the rooms and some ironing. You will have a twin room and your food will be provided. 2 days off per week, but not always at the weekend, depending on how the BnB is busy. You will have time in the afternoon to explore the area. If you like hiking, we are on the Beara Way. Just take the ferry and go on Bere Island or the cable car to go on Dursey Island.
We are also looking for 1 person to help us running the bed & Breakfast starting January to December . The idea is to train the person for a month its less busy but still great if you would like to improve skills in hospitality and tourism area. Tasks would be welcoming guests, check-in and check-out, cooking breakfast, some shopping and check with the suppliers, taking reservations by phone or email or through booking agents, .
Do not hesitate if you have any question regarding our offer.As per Irish law you will have to set up a Irish bank account to recive payment and to apply for a P P S number .
We pay minimum pay rate plus in house accommodation and food .
Workaways applying will need proof of working in the hospitaly for some time.

Castletownbere is located along the Wild Atlantic Way with plenty to see and do. While helping with us you will also enjoy the different cultures and nationalities of our guests. You will also get to spend time with our lovely dogs. It's a great spot if you like hiking as we are on the Beara Way.
