Thank you, Savas for the wonderful time at your farmhouse. Even though our request was last minute, he welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home for the entire week. Savas is a smart, open-minded, and friendly person, and we truly enjoyed our conversations together. We also miss all the lovely dogs and the peaceful atmosphere of the place. A great Workaway experience overall & we can't wait to be back 😊🙏🏻

Yoav es un joven respetuoso y muy responsable. Nos ayudó con tareas de mantenimiento en nuestra huerta y el parque. Pintando y lijando. Está aprendiendo español, tuvimos comunicación buena un poco en español y un poco en inglés. Siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar en lo que sea necesario

Una pareja de Italianos muy buena onda. Siempre dispuestos a a ayudar hasta que todo el trabajo esté impecable. Super respetuosos y obsesivos por la limpieza y orden, aspecto muy importante para nosotros! Compartimos cena de fin de año y realizaron unas pizzas exquisitas para todos los voluntarios y nuestra familia! Muchas gracias 😊

Compartimos un mes con Eduardo. Estoy muy contenta con los trabajos realizados juntos. Los objetivos fueron alcanzados y fue para mí una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Recomendable! Suerte y hasta la próxima entonces.

I had a really lovely time staying with Christian and his family. Everyone was super nice and welcoming to me and not even the language barrier could stop that:) I really enjoyed being out and about in the beautiful nature that surrounded us and working with the really cute Llamas. We always had a great time taking care of them together! 🦙 I really hope that Christian gets to realise his dreams of having lots of Llamas & build a beautiful botanical garden and maybe one day I'll be back to see it ✨

Ben was a great help. He made all his tasks hard working and with responsability. He is kind and respectful. I can recomend him

I'm sorry for writing this so late... This was, without a doubt, one of the best workaway experiences I had! I feel incredibly grateful that my path led me to this place and that I had the chance to experience it and meet this amazing people! Paul & Marie are one of the kindest, genuine and selfless people I have met. And their daughter Lily is an absolute marvel. I have enjoyed every second spending with them! Also all the walks with the dogs (Flocker and Monty)! The place itself is amazing and the sunset are just the best! It really surprised me how beautiful the island is! If you are looking for something fancy than this will not be for you. But if you are looking for something that has a lot of character and great energy/vibe, then this is exactly where you should be! Work can sometimes be intense but you also have plenty of time to relax and to explore the island. They also provide a bicycle which makes it much easier! Thank you for all the conversations, shared moments, laughs, your kindness and hospitality. You all have a special place in my heart! Hope to see you soon! Sending a big hug to everyone 🤗🌻

Grandiosa experiencia, estuve una semana en la parcela de don Miguel Ángel, me tocó sacar y cortar arbustos de maleza de una planta que se llama retama. Don Miguel me explicó cómo se hacía el trabajo para desmalezar sin dañar el terreno, por supuesto me brindó las herramientas, guantes y un overol para realizar la tareas. Comí comida chilena muy rica esos días, siempre cumplió con los horarios de las comidas. Con respecto al ritmo de trabajo dependía de mi, según como yo quería avanzar en el día con el trabajo para cumplir con las horas y avanzar de forma ordenada. Don Miguel siempre se preocupaba que tomara descansos entremedio de la jornada cuando había mucho sol. Compartimos muchas conversaciones sobre su vida como artista, cómo ha llevado su vida en la Patagonia y los sueños que tiene por cumplir. Recomiendo totalmente esta experiencia, todo el espacio es armonioso, se siente un ambiente familiar y, el paisaje es grandioso ya que cada mañana era una experiencia distinta con las nubes, las montañas y el río. Muchas gracias don Miguel por la hospitalidad.

I really enjoyed my time at the animal rescue shelter of Silvia and Kadir. The work was fun, for example caring and watching for the cats and dogs and help in the garden. There was also plenty of free time wich I used to go to Samaipata village, explore some nearby rivers and waterfalls, or just relax at the volunteers house. Sylvia and Kadir are both really friendly and easy to talk to and overall great hosts! I would really recommend this workaway for everyone who wants to spend some time away from civilisation in the nature and with animals!

We did spend 10 days with Lily - and we had a wonderful time! We were trapped in some really bad weather when we reached out. We got in contact and was able to arrived at Lily on the same afternoon. This was our first Workaway experience but what a good one. Lily is a fantastic host. Caring, warm, welcoming - and funny. We had to volunteers house to ourselves while Lily is living a few kilometres away. She passed by every day to chat, drink coffee or a drink or to eat dinner with us. We did some gardening, picked fruits, bottled honey and painted the floor of Lilys living room. All nice tasks - not too complicated. Lily cooked lunch for us all days we worked at her house. We only have good memories from our time with you, and we really hope that we can pass by later on our trip. All the best to you, Lily.

We spend 12 days with Adil - which was amazing. Adil is a super guy - calm, welcoming and caring. It really felt like home. The amount of work (mostly gardening) is moderate and we had lots of time to chill around and enjoying Istanbul. During our time at Adils we shared amazing foods and had good conversations, but it also felt natural just to hang around in the house - one was reading a cook, another working on the computer and another taking a nap. A quality we really appreciated!! Thanks for some wonderful days!!

I stayed in the shelter for 2 weeks in January, it was a lovely experience. The shelter seems to attract very nice people and the awesome managers certainly help with this. Everyone is happy to help, you just need to ask and the cats are all adorable. Facilities are good, kitchen is very well equipped and they provide a lot of food which made for a lot of communal meals which was really nice. I would definitely recommend, especially to anyone on their first workaway as they were very supportive. I would love to return some day.

I had an amazing stay in Rovaniemi! Although I didn't get to meet Chris in person due to timing, his communication and support were excellent throughout. I really enjoyed helping with the hostel management and chopping wood with a great team. It was a truly valuable experience. Thank you!

It was very nice to have Fynn at home, he did a great job in the house (cleaning everything very precisely, with a lot of attention and patience), and we had very nice talks. He is only 23 but very mature, and his project to travel with workaway and study psychology online at the same time is very inspiring and I hope other hosts are going to support it by receiving him, all over the world ! And my place is a place where he can always come back.
