    Description

    1.Option - We are a couple Kadir and Silvia, living in the mountains with our 10 dogs and 10 cats. This is our private shelter, as co- founders of a charity organization which helps spaying and rescuing animals in the village, we have a lot of work to do and therefore we need help with our shelter, general maintenance and garden.

    2. Option ONLY for Veterinarians - As part of our Non Profit Organization we are opening a clinic starting with Febraury/ March 2026 where we need your help to attend stray animals and those of familiy with low income. For this part of the project we offer a remunaration in pesos bolivianos based on the experience the volunteer brings with him and we offer the accommodation in the village and the food. For which we expect max 8 hours work and 2 days off. We prefere longterm internship if possible.

    1. Option -You can learn about gardening and plants. How to deal with many animals at the same time and help with animals and local people. We organize spaying campaigns regularly and as far as you are with us, you can help on such an event. We are a mixed couple (Bolivian & German) and we can help you with practicing Spanish and learing about the local culture.
    2. Option - You can put in practice your ability as a veterinarian coordinating with us and experiencing the culture in Bolivia and Samaipata as a village, seeing the needs of the animals and those of the people here. Enjoing the benefits of offerning help to those who need it most and receving the gratitude of the people and their animals. Coordinating with the veterinarians in the village and in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, there is a nice exchange on the professional level.

    1. Option -We have plenty of work to do. Help us with the dogs (prepare their food, feeding, cleaning). Care for the dogs and cats when we have to go to the town. Help us with our activities with the animals in the village, feeding stray dogs/cats, helping in spaying campaigns which we organize (we are co-founders of the organization). If you like to help animals and have a good vibration, then our home is the right place for you.
    We also need help in the garden around the house to clean, care and water the plants. We have bought this land and it was empty. We have started reforestation and planting fruit trees. We maintain our house as ecological as possible and we have a dry toilet and water is very precious. We need some help with small construction projects, digging, carpintery or craft works. If you like to be in the nature, and hear the silance at 9 km from the village, then you are on the right spot here. We have the view on El Fuerte Ruin and is a quiet and wonderful place at almost 2.000meters altitude.
    2. Option - We need your help to attend animals with their needs in the village where we have the small clinic and the apartment with bathroom and kitchen on the same building. Coordinating with us, there is a need of attending animals which need urgent attention and medication a well as internation. Participating at the spaying campaigns we offer each 2 month as well as attention at home for some cases. Maintaining the clinic in a good shape in terms of hygiene etc.

    Would like to practice English. But is very important to us that the volunteers speak at lest intermediate Spanish. Im order to have interaction and communication with Kadir as well, we have to ask for intermediate Spanish knowledge at least. Thank you for your understanding.

    1. Option - An independent house with a studio flat 2 beds and other small room. The kitchen is complete equiped and can be shared.The bathroom is dry toilet (compost toilet) and a shower (cold water and sometimes warm, depending on the weather).
    2. Option - A department with bathroom and kitchen in the village. Warm water and gas supply all from the state supply of the village.

    Samaipata is a small and quite place where you can get some rest from your city trips. Here are also nice coffee shops, restaurants and nice places on the river, EL Fuerte, a museum, tours to Codo de los Andes, Helechos Gigantes, waterfall La Pajcha, Cuevas etc. WE HAVE ONLY ONE ATM in the village with only VISA, and no Mastercard/Maestro or others. In case you dont have Visa, bring cash with you.
