To have at home Anton and Maritje as been a powerfull experience of learning to share a small place in convivence, organisation and work. They bring me a lot of good ideas and real good help finishing the roof isolation, advanzing in my future workshop, and the garden proces around the house. They are sweet persons, lots of humor and kindnes... Thanks for your help amigos, hopping to see you again here ro enjoy these place, here you have a house!

Denis and Brenda are the sweetest people. You surely be part of the family staying there :) The hotel really is a wonderful place to live and work, the alpacas are adorable and Cumbia is clearly the star of Acompampa 💛 You'll have plenty of time to go hiking and you should use it because the mountains of Ancash are the most beautiful, peaceful and magical you could imagine. Thanks for everything, I'll be back someday 🫶🏻

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect volunteer than Eliot! He is happy, easygoing, and adapted to our community in no time. He is incredibly versatile and handled every task we gave him with great skill

We highly recommend Alice and Corontin for Workaways. Capable, clever and curious they were an excellent help on various permaculture garden projects including constructing frames for netting fruit trees, setting up an automated watering system and prepping for a new water tank. They were hard working, diligent and proactive in helping with household chores and clean up. It was a lovely cultural exchange and they were a delight to have in our household. I am positive they will make a valuable contribution to any future activities or projects they are involved with.

For four months, Suzie Royston-Smith served as a volunteer teacher at Cofradías Bilingüe School, making a meaningful contribution to the learning and development of our students. From the very beginning, Suzie demonstrated great commitment to education and a positive attitude that inspired both students and staff. Suzie supported students in their academic activities, encouraging participation, curiosity, and a love for learning. Her patience, dedication, and creativity helped students feel motivated and confident in the classroom, creating a welcoming and enriching learning environment. Beyond her academic contributions, Suzie stood out for her strong moral values. Her empathy, responsibility, respect, and kindness were evident in every interaction with students and the school team. Her way of teaching and connecting with others reflected her commitment not only to education but also to the overall well-being and growth of each child. Suzie’s presence at Cofradías Bilingüe School left a lasting positive impact. Her effort, generosity, and dedication serve as an example of how volunteer work can transform lives and strengthen the school community. The farm location has changed since the description was posted. It is on the side of the highway across from a gas station and restaurant. The buses to the beach are very close but you have to be very careful as you run across the highways. There is a good amount of trash at the camp and volunteers live in tents. Jimena is great and cooks as well as works in the garden and directs the volunteers. The work in the farm was quite hot and a bit buggy, but overall enjoyable.

We were a couple of friends traveling, and Camp Eden Woods was the perfect choice for what we wanted to experience. We spent September 2025 there and met lots of people from all over the world, did lots of interesting activities, and had a lot of fun. We also worked as dishwashers at weekend events and set up camp during the week for guests. We recommend this place to anyone looking for their first Workaway experience, like we did. My boyfriend and I were warmly welcomed and had an amazing three weeks on the farm. From the very beginning we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Our tasks included building a new wood storage, herding the sheep, taking care of the chickens, and moving the cows. The farm is absolutely beautiful, with 120 hectares to explore — there is always something new to discover. In our free time, we could go fishing (at Lago Frío or in the mountain lagoon) or simply relax in a hammock and enjoy the view over the farm. Christian and his family came by every one or two days to bring building materials for the wood storage or food. On weekends, they were usually on the farm as well, and we shared many conversations, stories, and learned a lot about life on the farm. We also had the opportunity to be part of the lamb slaughtering process — completely optional, and only if you felt comfortable participating. We really enjoyed our time and can highly recommend this Workaway experience!

Linn was remarkably consistant about her works, finding a quick routine during the days, constantly striving for improvements. Than you so much for your wonderful help. I was really enjoying your stay with us, although it was short. Your openness was warming hearts of guest helpers as well as mine. Your interests in animals outstanding. If it is possible, I would really like to see you again, when you are near. And I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and your wellbeing in presence and future.

What can I say about this amazing experience at Future School!?! First of all, my communication with Marianna was great from day one. She was very reliable, kind and supportive while we were trying to find a good period for me to visit. I already had many trips planned and since I live in Budapest I asked if they could accept me the next day just for one week and this is what we did! I am so grateful that they gave me this opportunity and accepting me with such a short notice! I felt so much welcomed and appreciated from day one. Marianna is also very positive, sweet and helpful. I have attended several classes in the school (you can attend classes at your convenience) including English, Music and Drama classes. All teachers were so inspiring, creative and very open to include me in their classes. Most of the times I was playing with the kids some simple games in English or just having conversations about our culture and interests. The kids are so smart and curious to learn. I also received so much love and appreciate by them! The lunch at the school was very delicious with two different options each time. If you love kids and you are curious about creative and fun ways of education, don't think twice and volunteer at Future School!😉 For me it was one of the most heartwarming experiences I ever had and I will do my best to go back one day with new ideas and hopefully more time! Thank you so much Marianna and all the teachers for trusting me with the kids and giving me this wonderful opportunity to learn so many things from all of you!

Quelle joie d'avoir reçu Chloé et Guillaume à la maison ! Ils ont été adorables, investi dans les travaux réalisés et minutieux. Au quotidien, j'ai vraiment apprécié partager du temps avec eux, nos discussions étaient riches et variées et mon petit Lenny a lui aussi vraiment aimé leur compagnie. Bref, ce sont des workawayers parfaits !

Zoe and her friend Rebecca volunteered with us for three weeks, and it was a real pleasure to host them. From the beginning, they were respectful, open-minded, and eager to help. They showed genuine care for the children and quickly built a good connection with them, even though some of the kids were shy at first. They supported both creative and academic activities and also spent a lot of time playing sports and engaging the children in positive, energetic ways. They came prepared with ideas and were confident in leading activities, which was very helpful, especially during the holiday period. Both volunteers were responsible, punctual, and independent. They followed the house rules, adapted well to simple living conditions, and showed a positive attitude throughout their stay. They also interacted well with other volunteers and were easy to live with. We truly appreciated their dedication, kindness, and enthusiasm. They made a positive impact on our project and on the children, and we would gladly recommend them to any future host. They are welcome back anytime.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Connie is a very friendly, welcoming and flexible host. We also loved spending time with the dogs, cats and other guests. Especially the dogs will be missed very much. During our walks with them we really got to know their characters and got a lot of appreciation in return! We couldn't have picked a better place for our four weeks in Sayulita. Connie let us use the casa's surfboards, there are hikes all around and the town felt like home very quickly.

Your genuine connection with the children was natural and beautiful to witness, they felt safe, loved, and inspired around you.
