Thank you so much for everything. I stayed with the organization for one week, and it was a very meaningful and positive experience. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and I really enjoyed spending time with the children. I truly appreciate all the support I received during my stay, and I would love to come back again in the future.

This was another beautiful two-week chapter on the land. Sara and Matteo were initially supposed to stay only one week, but after just a few days they asked if they could extend their stay — which already says a lot. From the first day, they showed such kindness, politeness, and genuine willingness to help. Always in a good mood, always thankful, always ready to give their best — it honestly reminded us a lot of Marco’s, Alice's and Eleftheria's spirit at the time. They worked on the tiny houses, helped prepare the ground, and most importantly took part in setting up the circus tent — which was a BIG milestone for the project. Having this space ready for activities changes a lot for what is coming next. The fact that they also stayed two extra days to make sure we could complete it says everything about their commitment and team spirit. A HUGE THANK YOU again for that. A few days after their arrival, David and Lolo [Manuel] joined the project, and the four of them immediately connected and worked together like a real team. The atmosphere on the land during that period was simply great — supportive, efficient, and full of positive energy. Even on the hotter and more intense days, their attitude never changed. Always appreciative of the food (the “aroi mak” made us smile every time ;-0 ), always grateful for advice or small tips, and always respectful of the place and its rhythm. Hosting Sara and Matteo was easy, natural, and simply pleasant. It would have been a pleasure to keep them even longer, and they will always be welcome back on the land. All the very best for the next steps of their adventure!

my time with Spyrosand his team ended up being a highlight of 2025. From the location itself, tucked away in the mountains - to the generous hospitality from everyone I met - this Workaway experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for a moment away from the chaos, and ready to enjoy the simple life for a while. Tasks for me included cooking, cleaning and odd jobs that always need doing. While there is a never ending list of things to be done, I never felt pressured or stressed by Spyros. He is a very kind hearted and intelligent host, able to get a team moving with grace and a good sense of humour. Ευχαριστώ πολύ Σπύρος :-)

From the very first morning, waking up to the mountain views in one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed made this experience feel special. This has honestly been one of the best Workaway experiences I have had. The facilities were great, with a really comfortable bed and a proper hot shower that was perfect after a long day outside. I stayed for four weeks and got involved in all kinds of farm work, including landscaping, weeding the rice fields, composting, planting, and plenty of other daily tasks. Every day was a little different, which kept things interesting and made the time fly by. What truly made this stay stand out were Barir and Emi. Barir is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly, especially why each task matters. I learned so much about permaculture during my stay, and his lessons were always thoughtful and engaging. Emi’s cooking is absolutely delicious, and we were very well fed three times a day with generous portions. Barir also makes amazing bread and pizza, which were real highlights. We even went on weekend trips, including a visit to an ancient Indonesian community, which was such a memorable experience. I am very grateful to the the whole team, and I truly hope to come back one day.I cannot recommend this Workaway enough. :)

Your patience in the classroom and your vibrant spirit during dance sessions created such a beautiful atmosphere. We had the pleasure of hosting Marie twice, in that time Marie helped in the garden, splitting firewood and other farm chores. Marie is a great worker, has a great sense of humor, and great to work with . Had many discussions around the table after evening meal and played alot of Rummy o . I had an absolutely amazing experience staying with Len and Toni for almost 3 weeks. This was my first workaway experience and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They are truly such kind and gentle people. Thank you Toni for delicious meals and deserts - she is a great cook! Len drove me to different places for me to be able to see different things and do long walks which I will never forget. I really enjoyed meeting Toni’s sister Lorraine who was such good fun and I loved playing lots of games together. After working in the mornings I got the afternoons off to go down to the beach which is just a short walk down the hill. Len was very considerate with the amount of work I had to do depending on how hard the work was which was very fair and always made sure I was safe and happy. I only have positive things to say about my stay and would recommend it to everyone! Thank you again for everything!

She Was really great at what she was doing,She never misses any of her reponsibilities and does them really well. She did her best to help with us and never backed down.

Tiffany and Jonathan were an absolute delight to host. They are a really lovely, friendly and super competent couple, with many skills and great attitudes. Pre-visit communication was great. On arrival they fitted right in. They got down to work helping us sort out our seriously overgrown veg patch , which now looks awesome (thanks guys!) and chipped in whenever they could in the kitchen while sharing family dinners. They were also very happy to explore and entertain themselves in their downtime despite the jet lag. The kids were really happy and comfortable having them around. Tiffany and Jonathan are both very kind and friendly, with loads of entertaining stories and were a huge inspiration to us with their positive outlook and love of travelling and adventure. We’d love to have them come to stay again anytime. Thanks and safe travels , From family

Katie was an absolute pleasure to host. From the moment she arrived, she brought a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an easy going attitude to our home. She built an amazing set of stairs using her skills and craftsmanship. I was genuinely impressed with both the quality of her work and her attention to detail. She also helped with various other garden projects, and no task was ever too hard for her. She approached everything with enthusiasm and determination. Beyond her practical skills, Katie was great with the kids. Kind, patient, and naturally engaging. She fit into our family life so easily and was always helpful and considerate. We truly loved having her stay with us and would recommend her any day to any future host. She’s a gem!

Pia was such a wonderful human to have in my space for a week! We had a lot of fun and shared lots of stories - she is very easy to get along with and is a top worker too. The poor thing got lumped with chopping something like 50kg of tomatoes for preserving from the minute she arrived and she did it with a big smile! What a legend! She doesn't mess about and is happy to get involved in any tasks required. I highly recommend her to other hosts. She is a lovely young woman who is rapidly forming a great love of travel so be prepared to share all your travel photos and stories with her!

I had such a great time staying on the farm with Natalie and John. I was thrown into farm and family life straight from the start. I was able to experience everything from helping with cattle work to the street bbq at the weekend. Natalie was great at giving clear instructions for the work they wanted help with and the and the accommodation was a lovely little self-contained house. I learnt so much from both Billy and Cleaver who always kept me on my toes! It set the standard for future Workaway experiences very high!

This Workaway stay was an incredible experience for Pauline and me. Rosemary and Francis are very kind people. They welcomed us with open arms. We felt at home as soon as we arrived! Thank you again for your time, the delicious dinners and all the interesting and crazy stories! La Cabana is also a very relaxing place and we enjoyed the house and the pool!

Dear Magdalena, you are such a chill, trustful and attentive person, and it's so much fun to be around with you. We had many beautiful days together. Yesterday, we spread about 50 wheelbarrows of wood chips, and you were unstoppable even though I was completely exhausted :) We've known each other since last year, and you've been a huge help with my project. A few days ago, we visited a good friend and attended a Wim Hof ​​breathing workshop, which was really cool and intense. I love your sourdough and your pancakes. I usually do the cooking, but you're different and always bring food, hahaha. I'm already looking forward to pizza day and hope to see you again soon. Thanks for everything!

My stay with Annabel and Julian was really incredible. They were fantastic hosts, full of kindness, joy, and passion for conversation and farming. I learned a ton and got to try lots of new things, including sheep weaning! I can't thank them enough for such a fun and memorable time.

Lea is a wonderful workawayer! She stayed at my hokiday home fordt on her own and accomplished some important tasks all on her own..highly reliable and caring, i had no worries knowing she was there. She then czme to my home and we had a nice time doing vsroous jobs and fitting in with some other workaways..a relaxed atmosphere together. She is intelligent, caring and a fantastic person to have as a workaway..so glad she came my way!

Bernd and Dani have been great hosts. They have a great spot in Hobart that is close to the city and to great trails on Mount Wellington. They were really supportive and helpful in my transition to living in Australia and have become great friends. It was great to do a range of work from weeding, rebuilding fences, and plastering walls. I learned a lot and really appreciate the experience. Thanks for everything!

Len and Toni were fantastic hosts. They have a beautiful property in an incredible part of Tasmania. They were generous, kind, and supportive while I stayed with them. The work was good and fair and they had lots of tips and resources for exploring the area. I can't thank them enough for such an amazing experience.
