Hi🌞
We’re Sara and Matteo, an Italian couple traveling through South-East Asia.
Sara has been traveling solo for the first part of the journey, exploring Thailand and Laos, getting a first taste of the culture. Matteo will join in January, and from there we’d love to slow down and really connect with local people, traditions, food, and everyday life.

We’re not interested in just “passing through” like tourists — our goal is to build genuine connections, help with whatever is needed, learn from you, and share our culture and skills if you’d like.

We both love nature, being active, doing sports, and getting our hands dirty. At the same time, we’re very curious about spirituality, self-growth, and living more consciously. We’re social, open-minded, respectful, and flexible with tasks and schedules.

More details about my language interests
Sara studied English, Spanish and German in a linguistic high school, and participated in an exchange program I the USA that lasted a year, where she got fluent in the language. Matteo studied French in high school and English throughout all 13 years of school. We both traveled (and still travel) a lot, also for long term stays and always met international people, with whom we managed to practice many languages like Spanish and French (and English of course).

As a couple, we bring a mix of creativity, energy and practical skills.

Sara works with photography and video, and has experience with social media, communication and hosting (restaurants and hostels). She loves being around kids and animals, so babysitting or pet sitting comes very naturally. She also enjoys arts and crafts, teaching, and creative projects. She’s not afraid of manual work — even if it’s something new, she learns fast, is strong, reliable and always willing to help. She also practices gymnastics and loves staying active.

Matteo is very hands-on, creative and energetic. He loves sports, cooking, and music — he plays several instruments and often brings a great vibe to any place. He’s a natural entertainer, very social, and especially good with children: patient, playful and engaging. He enjoys working with his hands, learning new skills, and contributing wherever needed.

Together, we’re adaptable, curious and happy to help with both practical daily tasks and creative projects, always with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in the people we meet.
