Natali, Sarah and Anna were an absolute pleasure to host. As a trio, they are both charming and strong, and they work just as well together as they do individually. They are calm, respectful, smart, and genuinely hard working. No task was ever an issue, and they came up with thoughtful ideas on how to improve things around the property. During their stay, they helped us clear storm debris from the driveway, emptied a barn, and tackled a big job digging out old tarpaulin buried deep in clay, sorting everything neatly into a skip bin. They also collected, transported, chopped, and stacked firewood with great efficiency. They measured fence lines and paddocks, helped set up electric fencing, and moved cows into the correct paddocks, all with confidence and care. In the garden, they took cuttings, worked on propagation, repotting, and planting, showing real attention to detail and pride in their work. On top of everything, they even cooked us a beautiful Hungarian dish, which was such a thoughtful and delicious. They are reliable, proactive, and a joy to have around. We would welcome them back anytime and highly recommend them to any future hosts.

I had the chance to spend five months with this family, and Ania made me feel comfortable right away. She is very kind, attentive, caring, and always ready to help whenever needed. The family is wonderful, always in a good mood, with a warm and positive atmosphere at home. I quickly became attached to the children, who are absolutely adorable. I had an amazing and enriching experience, improved my Spanish a lot, and felt truly welcomed as part of the family. I was really sad to leave, as I felt at home with them. I highly recommend this family for a great Workaway experience. Thank you again for everything, and I hope we'll see each other again soon!

Having Pauline over at our farm was a great experience. She was very helpful in the garden and a wonderful playmate for our children. If you allow her into your kitchen, you won't be disappointed either, as she knows how to cook up a great meal. Our whole family enjoyed her calm and kind presence and looks back on a cosy week spent together.

We had such a lovely time here, what a place to wake up in. We felt very lucky to be in such a place of nature, each day inviting different and new species we saw. The property's trails are beautiful and do not miss the activities close by. Cascada Celestina is probably the best waterfall we've ever experienced. It was a fair exchange and we really enjoyed our time, we were able to get a perfect balance of being productive, going on adventures and what was required for the exchange. Emelia was our coordinator and she is an absolute gem! Also, the food here is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Our 1st workaway in Latin America could not have been better :)

Alia was very willing and cooperative. She quickly bonded with our children and immediately started playing games and drawing with them. Even though her stay was very short, she helped with the housework. She did this without us even asking. In fact, sometimes we had to remind her that she should rest. She was energetic and highly motivated. She helped people and played with the children

I had a really lovely time with Daniël. He is very spontaneous and flexible and clearly knows his way around sailing :D He is incredibly hospitable and very thoughtful about making sure everyone gets their own space. It was inspiring and beautiful to see how Daniël appreciates and enjoys the small moments in life. If there’s ever something that needs fixing again, just let me know! Thank you so much for the wonderful time 🌸

Her pets are super cute and friendly too :)) Also she's a very good cook and her meals are always delicious. The work we did outdoors was hard but I loved it. If you are an outdoor, nature person, this is defenitly the place to be ;)

I couldn't have imagined a better experience for my first workaway. Daniel and Reina have a magical way of making you feel at home from the very first moment. I really appreciated their project to show travellers the truest side of Chiapas. In their home, it's easy to create a beautiful community of people united by their interest in discovering every aspect of this beautiful culture. I loved every moment of sharing, from cooking to chatting. Just be careful not to plan what to do next, because you will definitely want to stay longer :)

I had an experience of a life time during this workaway with Geni. I will never forget it! Helping her out has helped me in return and our exchange was much better than I could have imagined. I learned and practiced Spanish reading poems by poets of Puerto Rico, listening to music, and Geni herself. Geni is a wonderful and kind person that works many jobs and I was so lucky to help out with her day to day tasks like playing and walking Hansel, Fey, Nana, and Willy, cleaning, organizing, cooking and overall offering wonderful company which was the best. It is important that volunteers give your time and be flexible and work around Geni’s schedule, the weather, and the pups for exploring. She is very flexible and there is a lot of free time for exploring when being conscious and communicative and overall prioritizing pups first! There is so much to do and see and I learned to slow down and appreciate every moment- which I am forever grateful for! Her tours were a plus and very nice to experience places through her eyes. The dogs were so friendly and I miss them with all my heart already. Thank you for everything Geni. ❤️

------------------ It was an amazing experience! Jose and Mauro (and their children, Valentino and Sabi) welcomed us incredibly warmly. During peak season, most of our work involved helping them in the kitchen, and sometimes we also helped with tasks outside, like in the garden. Our Spanish was only basic, but Jose and Mauro were very patient and explained all the tasks clearly! We lived with six volunteers in total, in a small house (the original tea house). They gave us the ingredients (including homemade bread and vegetables/salads from their garden) each day to prepare with the other volunteers. In our free time, we went to the lake or the river, depending on the wind, to swim. There were also two (or three) different mountains we could climb—so beautiful! If you want, you can visit other places (for hitchhiking) like the nearby pools. Overall, Meliquina is very peaceful, a place we will always remember, and we hope to return soon!

Les Cattiers was my first workaway experience and I couldn’t of asked for more in the five weeks I stayed with them. Both Helen and Gabi are both superb humans, who are filled to the brim with knowledge, humour and trust. The farm is on a beautiful location with lots of space to roam in the lush, calm hills surrounding the farm. An abundance of fresh vegetables made for incredible, nourishing meals, which were a highlight for me. From other workawayers’ home comforts (sopaipillas), to Gabi’s famous falafels and of course Helen’s never ending array of wonderful jams. I enjoyed learning lots about the process of vegetable cultivation, gaining some manual labour skills, and working outside amongst the greenery. Thank you for making my time here magic. I'm sure I will be back :))
