We’re Reyna and Daniel, a small family living in the beautiful city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
We love meeting travelers who enjoy learning about our culture, history, and traditions.
The activities we do vary a lot depending on the season, so be sure to check the calendar! However, we could certainly use a hand around the house with the garden, language and cultural exchanges, and our cacao project.

Somos Reyna y Daniel, una pequeña familia en la bella ciudad de San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
nos gusta conocer viajeros que disfrutan aprender de nuestra cultura, historia y tradiciones.
Las actividades que realizamos varían mucho por temporada, por eso es importante que revises el calendario! pero es muy seguro que nos vendría bien tu ayuda en casa con el jardín, intercambio de idiomas y experiencias, también con el proyecto de cacao .

The basic idea is coexistence, and the only thing we ask for is respect, communication and active participation.
As we mentioned before, the activities vary depending on the occasion and the needs of the house or the project, but what is certain is that none of these activities involve harm to you.

La idea basica es convivencia, y lo unico que pedimos es respeto, comunicación y participación activa.
Como mencionabamos antes, las actividades varian dependiendo la ocasión y las necesidades de la casa o del proyecto, pero lo que es seguro es que ninguna de estas actividades involucran daños a tu persona.
lo basico :
intercambio de idiomas
trabajar con cacao por lo menos dos dias a la semana.

You'll have your own space; it's a room that we've built with the help of other volunteers so we can continue welcoming new travelers. It's a rustic room in the garden of the house. It has a very comfortable orthopedic single bed, space for your belongings, hot water, and internet access for your digital activities.

-Traveling to Chiapas is safe! -We will be in communication and waiting for your arrival. -This works if you come with a strong desire to participate! -We can make many plans, the idea is for you to also enjoy this city! Information about our city: San Cristobal de Las Casas is a small tourist city that has been designated a "Magical Town" since 2010, a category granted for its historical and cultural importance, and tourist attractions. There are many museums in this city that you can visit, most of them for free. On weekends, you will always find artists in the walkways, cultural activities in the central plaza, plenty of places to have a delicious coffee. In addition, there are towns near the city that you have to visit to learn about the Tzotzil and Tzental culture, such as Chamula, Tzinacantan, and Amatenango, places you cannot miss. It's also worth noting that this city is a key destination for visiting important tourist areas such as Palenque, Monte Bello, Chiapa de Corzo, Sumidero Canyon, Comitan, and Chucumaltik, among others. The house is a 10-minute walk from the main square or downtown, but public transportation also stops two blocks away.

Informacion de nuestra ciudad:
San Cristobal de Las Casas es una pequeña ciudad turistica con la denominacion de "Pueblo Magico" desde el año 2010, categoria otorgada por su importancia historica, cultural y la oferta turistica.
En esta ciudad hay muchos museosque podras visitar en su mayoria gratuitamente, los fines de semana siempre encontraras artistas en los andadores, actividades culturales en la plaza central, cantidad de lugares para tomar un rico cafe, ademas de que cerca de la ciudad hay localidades que tienes que visitar para conocer sobre la cultura tzotzil y tzental, como Chamula, Tzinacantan, Amatenango, lugares que no te puedes perder.
Tambien se resalta que esta ciudad es clave para poder visitar zonas de importancia turística como palenque, monte bello, Chiapa de Corzo, Cañon del sumidero, Comitan, Chucumaltik, entre otros.
La casa se encuentra a10 minutos de la plaza principal o zona centro, caminando, pero tambien pasan rutas de transporte a dos cuadras. -
