  Greetings traveler!
  
  We are Reyna and Daniel, with a small family project in my mother's house, in the city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. My mother is in the process of retiring, so we have modified the house to receive travelers through platforms. but long before that, for a few years we have received wonderful and very nice people who have welcomed us. visited at the suggestion or recommendation of family and friends from the old continent, who have come to us for short or long stays either for studies or the simple pleasure of getting to know our land.
  
  The experiences have been very pleasant because it has been the opportunity to share, know and learn from both parties, and it has been a great pleasure to be able to participate in this Workaway platform to share a space with people who really want to know about our Mexican/Chiapanese culture .
  
  My mother, who is in the process of retiring, is very pretty and is always experimenting in the kitchen with ferments and dishes. She loves to learn new things, especially languages, gastronomy and stories.
  On the other hand, I am a biologist by training and I spend my time working in communities, so I will only be present at the house on weekends to tend to the garden plants and household chores.
  
  If you are interested in supporting us, you will have your space to rest, we will be very happy to receive you and get to know you, we hope to be able to share a lot and if you have something to teach us we will also be very grateful. We will agree on flexible schedules and activities to do =)

  Somos Reyna y Daniel, con un pequeño proyecto familiar, en la ciudad de San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas, México.
  Estamos modificado la casa para recibir viajeros a travez de plataformas digitales... pero mucho antes de eso, desde hace unos años nosotros hemos recibido a personas maravillosas y muy agradables que nos han visitado por sugerencia o recomendación de familiares y amigos del viejo continente, que han llegado a nosotros por estancias cortas o largas ya sea por estudios o el simple gusto de conocer nuestra tierra.
  
  Las experiencias han sido muy agradables pues ha sido la oportunidad de compartir, conocer y aprender de ambas partes, y ha sido un enorme gusto poder participar en esta plataforma de Workaway para compartir un espacio a personas que realmente quieran conocer de nuestra cultura mexicana/chiapaneca.
  
  Nos gustar experimentar en la cocina con fermentos y platillos, y nos encanta aprender cosas nuevas especialmente idiomas, gastronomía e historias.
  Daniel es biólogo de formación y pasa tiempo trabajando en comunidades, por lo que solo estara presente en la casa los fines de semana para atender las plantas del jardín y los pendientes de la casa, pero también le encanta viajar y competirte las maravillas de mi tierra! asi que si nos organizamos conocerás muchos lugares!.
  
  Si estas interesado en apoyarnos, tendrás tu espacio para descansar, estaremos muy contentos de recibirte y conocerte, esperamos poder compartir mucho y si tienes algo que enseñarnos también te lo agradeceremos mucho. Acordaremos horarios flexibles y actividades a realizar =)

  En Casa podras aprender sobre la gastronomía tradicional de nuestros pueblos, su música y cultura, además es una ciudad muy estratégica si quieres conocer lugares como palenque, lagunas de montebello, el chiflon, cañón del sumidero, Chamula y Tzinacantan.
  Serás tratado como un integrante más de la casa, con todo el respeto y valoración que mereces.

  En esta ciudad hay muchos museosque podras visitar en su mayoria gratuitamente, los fines de semana siempre encontraras artistas en los andadores, actividades culturales en la plaza central, cantidad de lugares para tomar un rico cafe, ademas de que cerca de la ciudad hay localidades que tienes que visitar para conocer sobre la cultura tzotzil y tzental, como Chamula, Tzinacantan, Amatenango, lugares que no te puedes perder.
  Tambien se resalta que esta ciudad es clave para poder visitar zonas de importancia turística como palenque, monte bello, Chiapa de Corzo, Cañon del sumidero, Comitan, Chucumaltik, entre otros.
  La casa se encuentra a10 minutos de la plaza principal o zona centro, caminando, pero tambien pasan rutas de transporte a dos cuadras.
