I had such a beautiful experience with my recent host, Johanna. She is genuinely kind, fair and thoughtful in the way she works with volunteers, which made everything feel balanced and respectful from the start. The space itself is incredibly special - peaceful, grounding, and full of healing energy. I loved sitting in the little waterfalls in the river in the afternoons trying to read (but usually being too captivated by the sights and sounds that I was unable to even turn a page!). The surrounding areas are perfect for quiet walks, reflection and reconnecting with yourself. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, calm and genuinely positive experience! Thank you Johanna! You are a beautiful human. Until we meet again…

Tuvimos la enorme alegría de recibir a Stefany y Loris durante todo el mes de febrero , y su paso por aquí dejó una huella profundamente positiva, tanto en lo humano como en lo práctico. Desde el primer día se integraron con una naturalidad y una sensibilidad poco comunes. Son una pareja excepcional, complementaria, comprometida y con una calidad humana que se percibe en cada gesto. Su presencia fue siempre respetuosa, amable y genuinamente interesada en conectar, comprender y aportar. Stefany, con su energía luminosa, su empatía y su vocación pedagógica, generó vínculos muy significativos y en particular con los Marchadores :). Su capacidad de escucha, su calidez y su mirada atenta enriquecieron enormemente los espacios compartidos. Loris, por su parte, aportó una presencia serena, reflexiva y muy comprometida. Y de gran utilidad en varias areas de construccion...Nos ayudo a contruir un galpon de madera...hermoso, Ambos demostraron ser extremadamente responsables, autónomos y versátiles. Manejan el español perfectamente. Participaron con entusiasmo en tareas muy diversas: desde actividades manuales y de mantenimiento, pintura, hasta jardinería, organización y apoyo en la dinámica general del lugar. Siempre con buena disposición, eficiencia y una actitud positiva que elevaba el ánimo del equipo. Su amor por la naturaleza y los animales fue evidente y coherente en su forma de estar y de colaborar, en particular con Akira y Chitta. Se vincularon con mucho respeto y cuidado, alineándose profundamente con el espíritu. Pero más allá de todo lo que hicieron, lo más valioso fue cómo lo hicieron: con presencia, con conciencia y con un deseo sincero de contribuir y dejar algo bueno detrás. Y sin duda lo lograron. Recomendamos a Stefany y Loris con total confianza a cualquier proyecto que valore lo humano, el compromiso y la autenticidad. Son de esas personas que uno siempre quiere volver a recibir. Cristina was willing, warm and wonderful. How lucky were we to have Cristina come into our lives. Challenged by language, but patient and open. Always tried her best. Honest and could be trusted. Shared physical labour with us in the garden. Thank you Cristina! Saw some of her art - oh my goodness, what talent! Unique style and really refreshingly beautiful.

Birthe has created a uniquely beautiful place. She is a very open, helpful, and reliable person. The dog and chickens are incredibly cute; I grew very fond of the dog. Named Loulou, she embodies independence, connection, and kindness. I felt safe and protected—what more could you want from a dog? For me, she was the perfect dog! My morning routine of feeding the chickens was always a wonderful way to start the day! On cooler days, I tended to the charming fireplace, gathering wood and lighting the fire. I discovered a great water source and had a fantastic experience of what it feels like to live self-sufficiently. Thank you, Birthe!

Le encanta aprender nuevas actividades y realmente se compromete mucho con las acciones que se le propongan. I stayed at Grit's house for 2 weeks and spent a lovely time with all the little family! Melvin and Grit made me feel at home, I had my own bedroom and could go on walks or in town thanks to Grit, who always drove me or found a way to drop me somewhere when I felt the need! The company of the cats and the dog was really nice too, always a pleasure to pet them when I came back from chopping wood or gardening! I definitely recommend the stay! Thanks again Grit! Nos ayudó mucho en los trabajos en el campo de maíz, en la cocina, es un experto en hacer las pizzas. Y lo mejor jugamos futbol con los locales y ganamos, Jackson es un muy buen jugador de fútbol! We had a truly warm and meaningful experience staying with Madhu and Sampada. From the very beginning, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for—they create a special kind of atmosphere that makes you feel at home in a very natural way. A special highlight were their two dogs and their cat, who added so much warmth and joy to the whole experience. What we especially appreciated was the clear and fair communication of working hours and tasks. Everything is well-organized, and there is a good balance between contributing and having time to rest or explore. The work itself offers beautiful insights into ecological farming and everyday rural life. It feels very real and grounded, and you become part of the rhythm of the place. At the same time, there is a wonderful opportunity to connect with and be gently integrated into village life, which made the experience even more special for us. The volunteer accommodation is simple and quite basic, so it’s helpful to come with an open mind and a certain level of flexibility. At the same time, this simplicity is part of the experience and allows you to connect more deeply with the surroundings and the lifestyle. Sharing meals and spending time together with people from different backgrounds creates a lovely space for connection, exchange, and many memorable conversations. Overall, this is a place with heart. We would especially recommend it to those who are looking for an authentic experience, are open to simplicity, and enjoy being part of a more local and mindful way of living. Raymond and Maria stayed here for a week and it was a delight. It's always nice to have experienced people around and Raymond and Maria were no exception. Totally trustworthy and capable of working independently. They advised and assisted us on many issues. From soldering, to the use of right materials, to best practices on carrying wood, to tasting authentic rösti, to interesting conversations about having a meaningful life. It was a pleasure to have you here. All the best with your endeavors. May we meet again.

Having Theresa here has been an absolute pleasure. She is always in a good mood, she is open minded, solar, very independent. She completed very well all the things I asked her for, she mostly worked in the garden and painted. Her dog is also very sweet and never created any problem at all. I definitely recommend her, Theresa will bring a beautiful energy wherever she goes.

I had a wonderful time with Vincenzo and Chiara! It was my first proper Workaway experience and it was perfect for that! The work is very relaxed; as I was there in winter/spring, it mainly involved feeding the animals and mucking out the paddock. Every now and then, I helped out with other odd jobs around the farm. The animals are all absolutely adorable and I miss them already. The little cat Selva, in particular, is very friendly and loves to sleep in the Workawayers’ bed. She's the cutest and I even got to experience her giving birth. The caravan is very cosy and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. You just should know that it can get quite cold in the winter, but Vincenzo and Chiara provided me with gas heating for that. The supermarket and a few bars and restaurants are within walking distance, but Vincenzo and Chiara also provided me with a bike, which I could use to cycle into the centre of Trepuzzi in just a few minutes. Lecce is just around the corner – a really beautiful city that’s easy to visit for a day trip. Vincenzo and Chiara are extremely kind and hospitable! They cooked some delicious meals for me on several occasions and gave me a lift to the beach. Vincenzo taught me about Italian culture, the Salento dialect and wild plants. All in all, I had a wonderful time and would recommend this Workaway to anyone, especially if you’re looking to unwind and spend more time in nature. Thank you so much for the nice time and I hope we’ll see each other again soon!

Kimberly came to originally spend a couple of weeks with us and to our greatest delight, ended up extending her stay as we all found a lot of equilibrium in each other's company and helping hands. From her calmness and sensitivity with our animals and us humans, to her mindful approach to solving problems, her wise personnality just brought the perfect balance in our busy sometimes chaotic Ranch life. And surely, all the wonderful drone footage she took are adding to the great memories of our time together. Thanking her warmly and wishing her more great workaway experience !

our experience at Wim, Anaïs and Marc's place was absolutely amazing, they are really comunicative and lovely people to stay with, the work varied in the 3 weeks we spent there, we did a lot of gardening, seeing the result after only two weeks, as well as other harder jobs like digging which in the end was really satisfying! We really felt like home so i couldnt reccommend this place more, hoping to come back soon!

Ben is incredibly kind, always smiling, consistently cheerful, and very easy to get along with, which is a real pleasure. Whether in the garden, with the horses, or doing various household chores, he has always been willing, motivated, serious, and above all, very enthusiastic. Even the more physically demanding or less enjoyable tasks were done with a smile. His motivation doesn't depend on the weather: rain, cold, wind, or heat, he's always there. He was one of the very few people I've asked to come inside several times because it was raining, and he simply replied that working in the rain didn't bother him at all! He left here to go to another Workaway in Norway. I asked him if he minded going to a country where it's 10 degrees cooler at this time of year, and he replied that the cold didn't bother him at all! I think that alone proves his determination and his love for nature. In short, if Ben asks you to join him, don't hesitate at all; his personal qualities, dedication, and commitment are truly remarkable. We will cherish wonderful memories of Ben, our door will always be open to you, and we wish you all the best for your future adventures.

Thank you Emma and Robbie for having me again and again and again during my time in Tasmania. I can’t believe how lucky I was to have you as my first host and as my family who always welcomes me back. I enjoyed all the artwork I did, and it was fun to learn about power tools and gardening. Dog walk, cat cuddle, fire minding were my favourite activities. I experienced so many new things while I was at the farm; first chess game, first raspberry picking, first chicken pickup. Every time I go back there’s a change in the environment. It was interesting to meet other travelers from all over the world, and it was lovely to go back to see friends I’ve already met there. I’m definitely coming back in the future and you are always welcome in Japan 😊 Thank you again Emma, Robbie, Lynn, Mable, Reg, Fili, Chickens, Flambé and Disco. I love you all.

We already miss Adil! We stayed in his (beautiful and comfy) HOME for a week, and it was a lovely time. Because it was so cold and rainy, we decided together that working in the garden was a bit too challenging, so we kept doing small projects inside and sharing our time and energy. We cooked and ate together, which was like being at home - super important for us after being 7 months on the road. Adil is super clear in his communication and, without effort, understands your passions, and together you can find the best ways to contribute to his place and life. Now he is developing his taste for whiskey, if you can bring it as a gift, he will be very happy as it's quite hard to find it in reasonable price in Istanbul. See you soon!

Willem was a very pleasant person to have around. He just blended in. He spoiled me with a daily breakfast and coffees, which is a luxury for someone who lives alone, is a slow starter and always has to do everything herself. He appreciated everything: the sightseeing trips, the meals I cooked, and the environment. We went several times to eat at a traditional tavern and to the Carnaval parade. We had very interesting conversations, and my doggy got extra attention! He is very responsible, did all the jobs without watching the clock and took initiative. I have the cleanest street in the village now. For a hermit like me, he was just perfect company. I would gladly host him again!
