Description
Hey! I’m Benjamin – but most people just call me Ben. Nice to meet you! :)
I’m 34 years old and have tried many different things in life so far. I started out as a bricklayer, worked in logistics, and eventually discovered my passion for design. I later co-founded a small design agency with friends in Potsdam, Germany.
After a few years I realized that being self-employed didn’t automatically give me the freedom I was looking for. I wanted more space to grow, learn new skills, and experience different places and ways of living. So I decided it’s time for a new chapter.
I’ve always been someone who loves trying new things. When I learn something new, I turn into a curious kid again — asking questions, experimenting, and getting excited about every little progress.
My plan now is to travel, meet people, help out wherever I can, and discover projects that inspire me. I’m also shaping my work so that I can do more of it remotely while exploring the world.
I’m open-minded, creative, and not afraid of getting my hands dirty. Whether it’s helping on a farm, assisting with digital tasks, building something, or supporting a community project — I’m happy to contribute and be part of something meaningful. -

More details about your skills
I originally trained as a bricklayer, but I never felt the same spark for it as I did for design.
So while I can help with physical tasks, please don’t expect me to build anything that needs to look perfect in the end – unless we’re talking about websites :P
That said, I like working with my hands - dunno how to put it but: often times simple manual labor, not thinking, listening to music and just working away feels like the perfect counter part to my office job. I enjoy learning new skills, and I’m at my best when solving creative problems. I always try to support the people around me with a positive attitude and a bit of humor.

What else ...
I’ve always been curious by nature and open to trying new things.
I enjoy all sorts of games – ever since I was a little boy, I’ve loved playing computer games of all kinds. I also used to play piano and a few other instruments as a child.
One more thing that might be good to know: I have ADHD.
It's nothing dramatic, I do not need any meciation or so. I got diagnosed with 33 so this has always been part of my life, and I’ve learned to work with it.
The upside? Things rarely get boring with me around 😄
I’m full of ideas, quick to adapt, and often bring a lot of energy and creativity into new situations. I love to help people. Sometimes I might need a bit of structure, but I’m also very self-aware and adapt to situation. So if you need me to get up a 6 AM to help with something, I am there for you. -
