I stayed at their home for three weeks, and I had a very positive experience there. Unfortunately, Raf was working in another place during my stay, so I didn’t get the chance to meet him in person, but he supported me very well through WhatsApp. Thank you, Raf. During my stay, I spent most of my time with Frank and Evelyne. They are very kind, and the time I spent with them is a wonderful memory for me. Every evening, we went for walks along a beautiful path near their home and did some shopping at a small local shop run by a neighbor. We cooked dinner together and enjoyed our meals as a family. The volunteer work included general farm tasks such as watering and weeding the garden every morning, feeding the chickens, preparing food for Trent (their friendly dog), as well as cleaning and washing dishes. I had a private room, which was very clean and comfortable, and I was able to live there peacefully. On the weekends, Frank took me to visit Lake Victoria and also showed me his studio. I also had the opportunity to attend a university festival with Evelyne. It was a lot of fun. If you are looking for a volunteer experience in Kenya, I highly recommend staying at this place.

Visiting this place was My First Workaway Experience and I was very Fortunate to find Paco and his Project. Paco has an Immense wealth of Experience with Volunteers running over decades. Although My stay was Short I learnt a lot about life as a Volunteer. The place of Paco and the Village of Villabre is a truly authentic and special unique place. The surrounding area is peaceful and surrounded by low level hills although very wild and rugged with an abundance of Wildlife and Spanish Culture. It’s very Important to read the description Paco has explained to join this Project . It is very much about Living in a community and Working as a team. It is an experience that will stay in your heart if You visit.

We stayed for five weeks and had an amazing time. Lovely kids, Trent is great, and there’s plenty of freedom, while also being included in many fun activities. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Goda was a great Workawayer and a pleasure to have around. We had a good laugh and the dogs loved being around her. She kept the house perfect and loved helping out with the painting of the exterior. She also enjoyed walking to the the village and meeting regulars and tourists at my bar and will be missed. Goda you are welcome back anytime you wish 😊

Aya was a real pleasure to have in our home while she was taking care of Ringo. From the very beginning, communication with her was clear, friendly, and very smooth, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind while we were away. She kept us well informed and was always attentive and responsive, which we really appreciated. Ringo absolutely loved spending time with her. It was obvious that he felt comfortable, safe, and happy in her care, and we could see that she genuinely enjoys being with dogs. She was very attentive to his needs, routines, and personality, and she treated him with a lot of care and affection. Everything worked out perfectly during her stay — from daily routines to the overall organization and cleanliness of the house. We came back to a calm and happy dog and a home that had been very well looked after, which made a big difference for us. We sincerely hope to welcome her back into our home in the future and to see her again soon.

Hannah and Tim were both superb Workaways. They worked enthusiastically, always with a good attitude regarding the work that needed to be done. We are very grateful to have had them as part of our team here at our small farm. They did a lot of fruit tree pruning and clearing the water basins around the trees as well as sowing maize seeds. They enjoyed what our area had to offer, peace and quiet, as well as our small town.

We had a great experience with this volunteer. She was responsible, proactive, and always willing to help with a positive attitude. She completed her tasks on time and showed great teamwork and communication skills. We truly appreciated her commitment and energy, and we would definitely recommend her to any future host.

I had a wonderful month staying with Bernd and Dani in Hobart. During my time there I helped with many small projects around the house, including painting a door that became part of their beautiful door fence outside, removing the old wooden fence and installing a new one, and doing general house maintenance and repairs. Bernd and Dani were incredibly kind, generous and supportive hosts. They made me feel welcome from the very first day and were always helpful and considerate. It was a real pleasure to work with them and be part of their home for a while. This was a truly beautiful experience and I can warmly recommend this Workaway to anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed and meaningful stay in Hobart.

Thank you so much for everything over the past 5 days. I had such a fun and meaningful experience. Umi’s cooking was delicious, and all of the staff were very warm and welcoming. The children were also adorable and truly comforting to be around. I really appreciated how everyone treated me like family. I hope we can meet again soon.

Duha was wonderful. She's one of those people you might not even notice (discreet, introverted, polite) but then they continually surprise you. Intelligent, excellent at organizing the tasks assigned to her, sensitive, a good cook, deep in spirit, friendly, fun, reliable. I really appreciated her commitment (and excellent results) to learning a few words of Italian, which I consider one of the nicest and most respectful things to do for full integration. In short, thank you, Duha, and if you happen to have the chance, don't hesitate to welcome her.

I absolutely loved the opportunity to volunteer at this coliving. I intended to stay a month and ended up staying almost 2. The facilities are super clean, the work requirements are very clearly outlined and Leo is great to work with. If I'm back in Colombia, I would definitely volunteer again.

Eva was a fabulous WWer. She helped in the garden , very good with the electric weed trimmer & all the other tasks plus she bakes amazing cakes. We had such interesting conversations (her English is better than mine) 😁 No hesitation in making a recommendation

I volunteered for a short time with Ayrat and I had the opportunity to work with beautiful stone material. Ayrat was respectful of my time constraints and adjusted the project accordingly. He communicated his ideas in detail. The housing project where he lives is unique; the apartment where I stayed is pretty luxurious and food was plenty and very healthy. There is a park nearby ideal for doing sports. I enjoyed the work. Apart from the mosaics, I helped with some small things around the house, and we treated some houseplants - I hope they improved! Take care and thanks for having me, Julia

Yevgeniy works even harder than his name is to pronounce! (for me anyway ;-)...and he's laid back enough that he gave me a break and let me shorten it to 'Yev'. Even better than working harder, he works smarter too - anticipating things a few moves ahead and really being in sync with whatever tasks or projects were at hand. On top of all that, I think Yev might just be the most compatible person on the planet - able to utilize his broad cultural and linguistic background to build instant rapport with anybody. Even after a short time I could see he was a really cool guy, a solid friend, an enlightened spirit, and just an all-around asset in any kind of setting. And luckily he stayed for a long time, which was a win-win. I 100% recommend having Yev be a part of anything you have going on with Workaway or wherever you may cross paths!

Susannah was an enthusiastic and helpful worker, joining on projects for many days without even staying here just to gain knowledge and experience. From day one she showed her resiliency and compassion by joining to help neighbors out in a time of emergency as if it was her own community. She has a tendency to be self-effacing and underestimating her own abilities, though always steps up and shines with some encouragement. She is also the Janie-on-the-spot(?) with PPE to make sure that she and everyone around is safe and protected!

My first workaway address . I really enjoyed being with Cindy, to work and swim together.she is also a great cook with food from the garden. I loved it. I had a nice large room where I feel very comfortable. We shared the bathroom but there were two so that was fine. Not to far from Auckland.

Veronika and Dune are Syifa's favorite people. We call them our 'all-rounder dream team' because they're irreplaceable. They teach so well, take such good care of Syifa, do some housework, and even gave all my students presents. They can teach on their own without me, which helps me a lot. Also, when they don't have a teaching schedule, they volunteer to take Syifa for walks, and Syifa loves it. They even do housework without being asked. That's why they are my favorite people. Don't even ask for more reasons, because they are truly incredible, and I feel so lucky to have met them. We wish you could stay here forever, but your journey must continue. Wherever you are, I hope you are healthy and happy. You both will always have a special place in my heart. I miss you already!
