Description
I'm retired and live alone in my farm house. I am doing hazelnut farming in a village 10 km away from Trabzon city center. My garden consists of 5000 sqm. of hazelnuts and about 200 sqm. of fruits and vegetables. I have different kinds of local fruits like watermelon, kakhi, kiwi, alucha and many more. I also have a dog, Linda.
I mainly need help in doing gardenwork. This includes the cutting of trees and chopping the wood to make firewood, digging up the field and planting. In august the hazelnuts are ripe and ready to be picked. In this time my family comes helping me. We harvest about 500 kg of hazelnuts every year. Thus in august also picking hazelnuts is a task but not in the rest of the year. Occasionally I need help in the plantation, care and harvest of my fruits and vegetables.
Emekliyim ve çiftlik evimde yalnız yaşıyorum. Trabzon şehir merkezine 10 km uzaklıkta bir köyde fındık tarımı yapıyorum. Bahçem 5000 m2'den oluşuyor. fındık ve yaklaşık 200 m2. meyve ve sebzelerin. Karpuz, kakhi, kivi, alucha ve daha pek çok farklı türde yerel meyvem var. Benim de bir köpeğim var, Linda.
Genelde bahçe işlerinde yardıma ihtiyacım var. Bu, ağaçların kesilmesini ve yakacak odun yapmak için odunların kesilmesini, tarlanın kazılmasını ve ekim yapılmasını içerir. Ağustos ayında fındıklar olgunlaşır ve toplanmaya hazırdır. Bu sırada ailem yardıma geliyor. Yılda yaklaşık 500 kg fındık hasadı yapıyoruz. Bu nedenle ağustos ayında da fındık toplamak bir görevdir, ancak yılın geri kalanında değil. Ara sıra meyve ve sebzelerimin ekimi, bakımı ve hasadında yardıma ihtiyacım oluyor.

The region of Trabzon is especially famous for it’s hazelnut plantations and hazelnuts are grown here since a long time. I can teach you about the Trabzon and Black Sea Coast, especially concerning farming. Because I’m interested in grafting plants (= combination and connection of two different kinds of plants/sorts) you can also learn about that. I can also help you learning turkish. Since I was born in Trabzon I can teach you about the history of this area.
Trabzon bölgesi özellikle fındık bahçeleri ile ünlüdür ve burada uzun zamandan beri fındık yetiştirilmektedir. Size Trabzon ve Karadeniz kıyılarını, özellikle çiftçiliği öğretebilirim. Bitkileri aşılamakla ilgilendiğim için (= iki farklı bitki türünün/türünün birleşimi ve bağlantısı) bunu da öğrenebilirsiniz. Ayrıca türkçe öğrenmene de yardımcı olabilirim. Trabzon'da doğduğum için size bu bölgenin tarihi hakkında bilgi verebilirim.
