Description
Non-profit project of Vrchlabí (Czech Rep) municipality looking for enthusiastic workawayers! Aim & description: helping local kids (5-15) to familiarize with English as foreign language and improve their speaking/comprehension through play, talk, work, sports, arts, cooking & lots of other fun stuff - all for free and for all local children without any expenses, barriers or limitations. Workplace: schools, afterschool clubs, youth centers. Offer: Accommodation in the heart of picturesque town of Vrchlabí surrounded by beautiful mountain nature, possibility of having luch at the school canteen/refund of receipts up to limit 187,Kč per day, variety of benefits (skiing, biking, swimming, hiking, ice skating/hockey), support & guidance from local authorities, warm heartful welcome by kids, teachers and educators. Starting: September 2020.

Great & perfect possibility to live and learn real cultural exchange! Vrchlabí is small, cozy but modern town and close-knitted community, gateway to the highest Czech mountains (Krkonoše). Aiming to open up as much as possible to innovations and different cultures with modern and future oriented industry, attractive destination of travelers heading to the nearby national park, with lively atmosphere and upbeat cafes and pubs and lots of sports facilities (including ice hockey arena, football & athletic field, ski slopes and cross-country skiing center). You will have a unique opportunity to benefit from all this and to meet with local families, kids, young people and other residents every day.

Help
Helping local kids (5-15) to familiarize with English as foreign language and improve their speaking/comprehension through play, talk, work, sports, arts, cooking & lots of other fun stuff. English as first language or full proficiency necessary.
There is fully functional little kitchen in the lodging house so workawayers prepare their meals, we offer the refund of the shopping/restaurants receipts up to the limit 187,-Kč per day.Languages spoken

Small lodging house in the town center, provided and operated by the municipality. Up to 10 people, kitchen, bathroom and all usual comfort included.

Vrchlabí is easily accessible by public transport (bus & train/2,5 hrs from Prague). Packed with leisure & sports activities both in winter and summer, gateway to Krkonoše, the highest Czech mountains and national park, ideal take-off place for hikes, ski trips & bike tours – just pick up your trail and go!
