  Description

  I enjoy the mountains and the open sky. We live in the Alps in a well known spirtual retreat center, and our project is to renovate the site and encourage the growth of spirtual retreats for everyone. We welcome workawayers who wish to combine work and study and practice, who have skills in cooking, renovating, building maintenance or gardnering.
  
  J'aime les montagnes et le ciel dégagé. Nous habitons dans les Alpes sur un site ancien et connu pour les retraites spirtuelles, et notre projet est de rénover le site et faire développer la pratique des retraites spirituelles (au niveau collectif et individuel). Nous accueillons des workawayers qui recherchent à combiner le travail avec l'étude et la pratique spirituelle. En particulier, nous sommes à la recherche des personnes ayant des compétences en cuisine, rénovation, maintenance des immeubles ou des espaces verts.

  We carry on short mountain hikes together, meditation sessions in nature, and meals in common. We have residents from diverse horizons and various nationalities. The site has a rich history and we live on the grounds of the former Chartreuse monestary of the late middle ages. Workawayers can learn about the history of the site and the region including its transformation in recent times into a retreat center under the direction Lama Denys Rinpoche. It is a remarkable place discover the practice of meditation as well as the spirtual traditions of Orient.
  
  Nous faisons ensemble souvent des marches simples en montagne et des séances de méditation en pleine nature, des repas en commun. Nous avons des résidents de divers horizons et différentes nationalités. Le site a une histoire riche et nous vivons sur les terres de l'ancienne chartreuse du Moyen Âge tardif. Les workawayers peuvent découvrir l'histoire du site et de la région, notamment sa transformation récente en centre de retraite sous la direction de Lama Denys Rinpoché. C'est un endroit remarquable pour découvrir la méditation et les traditions spirituelles de l'Orient.

  Help

  We are looking for a workawayer with good cooking skills and certification in order to cook daily vegetarian meals (20 to 100 meals) with the help of volunteers. The pay is 1200 Eur per month (lodging included) and the position is for the period between April 1 and September 30.
