    Description

After 3 years working on a base camp, we are beginning our move a little further into jungle.

We are looking for people who want to learn and teach past and future practices relating to living in harmony with nature. Currently we are implementing better irrigation systems, building out rotational animal grazing of pigs, chickens and Cows, improving our restaurant and the offerings provided, building with mud, rammed earth and bamboo.

We are about to set up a new project,1hour from our current base. The area is tranquil and pristine. The closest town has most basic supplies, 20minutes away. The beach is 1.5 hours and the closest airport is 2.5 hours.

Our goal is to create a small village on 15 hectares which is bordered by a spring fed river. Initial activities include location scouting, drone mapping and site design, installing primary infrastructure

We are looking for pioneering souls who want to join in the whole process of holistic design and development.

We are ready to start creating a site camp and kitchen, later glamping and cabins for hosting people who want to learn about permaculture, construction, health and wellbeing.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We have a varied range of skills and experience within our team, which is rapidly expanding as we activate the plans we have been working towards over the last 3 year. We are actively seeking the local wisdom and mixing it with our network of healers and change makers, who will be joining us to present a series of events and workshops, mostly centered around wellbeing.

From design philosophy, drone mapping and construction with local natural resources, to food production, energy systems and local natural medicine, we have as much to learn as we have to share.

There has been a lot of interest in our project, and this stage we move into now, is completely open to cocreation, and even landshare opportunities for people who love the place as much as we do.

    Help

Currently we are looking for people to help take on some daily activities such as caring for animals, as well as people who are willing to stay and complete different missions, such as building the site kitchen, compost toilet, workshop or power system.

We are also lucky enough to have thermal springs on our land, which we are building a variety of pools outside each campsite to relax after a day of creating, building and exploring.

We are building an education portal which is a repository of tutorials, recipes and people within our network. We need help from people with, or willing to gain experience in media production, mainly focused on creating inspirational and educational content.

Of course we will always have gardening to do, and we like to eat every meal as if it's our last.

    Accommodation

We have a few houses in varying states of construction or repair at our "lower garden":

    - four bedroom house with a swimming pool, surrounded by mango trees
    - a small cabaña in the garden
    - large tent for a couple
    - larger tent for 4 people
    - campsites

In the upper garden, we will be creating camping, then glamping, cabins and then homes.

Until April, we have very comfortable conditions for camping, and our plan is to create comfortable accommodation for 10-15 people.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

There is plenty of exploring to do, including an abandoned coffee plantation, a village and even some ruins.

We also make regular trips to town for supplies, picking up and dropping off people, and just to enjoy good food and good vibes.

Our next community investment is a bus or a van, for moving people and supplies between our own, and partner projects.
