    Description

I'm a Chicago native transplanted in Colombia. 3.5 years ago I came down here and quickly decided I wanted a piece of this paradise, so I purchased a coffee farm. Manizales is a brilliant city, and I look forward to helping you integrate into Colombian culture with this exchange! I'm only in Colombia for about half the year.

This exchange currently ONLY offers room and board in exchange for work. We do not supply food. There is a kitchen and you can negotiate with the woman that cooks if you would like her to cook for you.

I bought the Finca 7 years ago as a project, so there is so much to be done, from cleaning the farm (with machete) to investigating new viable plants to grow, to picking coffee and helping with coffee tours. I'm from the USA and live on the farm in Manizales, Colombia, but the needs are growing and help is welcomed! If you have experience working on coffee farms that is obviously a big plus, but none is needed.
