    Description

We are a couple in our late 60's and early 70's who live in a Large 3 level house with a swimming pool set in 5 acres of land outside the Town of Malanda in a beautiful part of Far North Queensland in Australia.
We love having company , We regularly host Japanese Home/Farm Stay students for organisations based out of Cairns and Melbourne. Many dates will not be vacant as we could be hosting students.
We are excellent cooks having owned and operated a Roadhouse and a Cafe in the last 30 years. We now have been retired for about the last 14 years.
We are looking for individuals to come and help as gardeners and general Maintenance helpers in return for food and lodging.
If individuals can make their way to Atherton , we can pick you up from there , when we have certain dates we can accept people.
At least 5 hours of help per day in a five day block is expected, a day off usually entails a BBQ lunch and some sightseeing, though depending on weather and circumstances, hours can be juggled to suit.
Work- awayers will be accepted in the next period of time for about 7 to 10 days.
The next period for acceptance should sometime in feb 2019. There is an opportunity to do some fine tuning in the weeding department.
