Description
Creswick is such an amazing, vibrant town with a huge emphasis on music. Once you arrive, you're in!
I live here with my 19 year old son (my 20 year old son has just moved to Brisbane). It's a busy, happy place with plenty of animals to look after and a vegetable garden to tend. Kangaroos and wallabies are regular visitors!
I work from home as the Media and Comms manager for an international NGO that works with small scale farmers to restore land. All the time differences mean that my work times vary a lot.
We are turning our house into our dream and we live with three indoor cats and a small Australian Silky Terrier called Cricket.
I love to cook, and I love to teach others to cook. I am vegetarian, but my son is not. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I travel quite a bit for work - mainly to Africa and SouthEast Asia and I was a homestay host for students for many years.
There are so many things I love to do and they range from carpentry to preserving to crochet to dancing and gardening. I share all my skills with those around me and love the opportunity to chat with people from other cultures. -
Help
There's plenty to do here. There are blackberries and gorse bushes to chase, gardens to tend, animals to care for and new plans to realise! If you have ever wanted to restore a wooden jetty, this is your chance! I work from home and am always eager to be outside, teaching and working alongside others.
It's a small place, but a busy place with an emphasis on fun, food and creation. -
