    Description

We are a friendly, semi-retired couple who require some help on our organic hobby farm. Our setup is ideal for a couple but a single person works well too. We ask that each person does 15 hours of work a week in exchange for caravan accommodation and use of all amenities including full wi-fi.

The feedback we have had from most helpers is how much they have liked the relaxed, friendly vibe. We would ideally like people who are passionate about horticulture and/or willing to learn about permaculture and organic farming.

Work on the farm will involve planting, weeding, mulching, mowing, and fruit and vegetable harvesting. Helpers will be exposed to the techniques of landscape process observation, intensive organic vegetable cultivation and orchard management, green manuring and crop rotation, rainforest regeneration and plant propagation.

Our 7 acre farm includes a mixed orchard, a market garden, pasture and a rainforest revegetation project.

We have views over 200 acres of rolling green hillside, which has an abundance of birdlife.
