  Help

  We live in the south of the island of La Palma located in the northwest of the Canary Islands archipelago. Suspended between sky and sea, we have built and fitted out a place where we wish to offer cultural and artistic activities as well as various courses (yoga, tai chi, dance, singing) and other workshops.
  Since this summer of 2024, we have been investing in a syntropic agroforestry project. This consists, on our land of 7800 m2, of planting a large quantity of fruit trees (approximately 150) in order to create in the medium term, a natural ecosystem to design a productive agricultural structure which combines a diversification of harvests and a reduction of the water consumption.
  In order to move forward in this program, we are looking for people who are in good physical condition and who like working on the land or even better, someone who has knowledge of agriculture and/or permaculture, in order to to help us finish preparing the land (possibly erecting a few dry stone walls), setting up the irrigation networks and finally planting the trees.
  In order to promote this new project, we are also looking for a person who perfectly masters the different forms of communication on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and others. The exchange would be to set up the dissemination of this information and to teach us how it works in return for accommodation and meals.
  
  Nous habitons au sud de l'île de La Palma situé au nord-ouest de l'archipel des Canaries. Suspendu entre ciel et mer, nous avons construit et aménagé un lieu où nous souhaitons proposer des activités cultuel, artistique ainsi que divers stages (yoga, taï-chi, danse, chant) et autres ateliers.
  Depuis cet été 2024, nous nous investissons dans un projet d'agroforesterie syntropique. Cela consiste, sur notre terrain de 7800 m2, de planter une grande quantité d'arbres fruitier (150 environ) afin de créer à moyen terme, un écosystèmes naturels pour concevoir une structure agricole productive qui allient un diversification des récoltes et une réduction de la consommation en eau.
  Afin d'avancer dans ce programme, nous sommes à la recherche d'une personnes qui soient en bonne condition physique et qui aime le travaille de la terre ou encore mieux, quelqu'un qui aurait des connaissance en agriculture et/ou permaculture, afin de nous aider à finir de préparer le terrain (éventuellement monter quelques murets en pierres sèches), mettre en place le réseaux d'irrigation et enfin planter les arbres.
  Dans la but de promouvoir ce nouveau projet, nous sommes aussi à la recherche d'une personnes qui maitrise parfaitement les différentes formes de communication sur les plateformes de réseaux sociaux tel que Facebook , Instagram et autre. L’échange serait de mettre en place la diffusion de ces informations et de nous en enseigner le fonctionnement en contrepartie du logement et des repas.

  In return for 4 to 5 hours of work per day, 5 days per week, we offer a room with private bathroom in our house as well as breakfast and a good meal in the evening. To be agreed according to needs and desires.
  
  Nous offrons en contre-partie de 4 à 5 heures de travaille par jour, 5 jours par semaine, une chambre avec salle de bain privée dans notre maison ainsi qu'un petit déjeuner et un bon repas le soir. A convenir selon besoins et envies.

  What else ...

  It is a beautiful island to visit. Primary forests, black sand beaches, volcano route, star observatory... From our house there is a bus line 1 minute walk away, but it is easier to rent a car to be more free to visit the 'Isle.
  
  C'est une île magnifique à visiter. Forêts primaires, plages de sable noir, route des volcans, observatoire des étoiles... Depuis chez nous il y a une ligne de bus à 1 minute à pied, mais il est plus aisé de louer une voiture pour être plus libre pour visiter l'île.
