    Description

Hi, I'm Pedro, welcome to my page! Here I live in Ixlú, in the wonderful department of Petén, the biggest and greenest of all Guatemala. I am passionate about helping people discover this wonderful piece of Central America, which prompted me to become a Workaway host. I share this place with my wife Odilia, my grandson Kent, and my niece Yelianis. From our project, you can easily go to Belize in one direction, or to Flores and Tikal in the other, since we are located on the main road. Anyway, our place is quiet enough to chill and rest, a true, typical Guatemalan household.

Here you will be able to taste the real small-town Guatemalan life, including cuisine, language, and folklore. I will be happy to share with you anything I know about this place, from the best restaurants to the most interesting monuments, from preparing real Guatemalan food to growing the very ingredients we use in our garden. In exchange, I would love to learn about your language and culture, too!
