Description
Hi, we are a couple of global citizens who have taken root in central Bulgaria. He is originally Bulgaria but returned after being away for 25 years. My roots are eastern whilst my birth is western. Having lived and worked in many countries we are both a melting pot of languages and cultures, creating a unique way of living. Even our dog Mishri is quad lingual.
Having mostly restored the house and outbuildings from the ruins they once were, we now can concentrate on the gardens. We have roses of every colour and fruit and nut trees. There is always something to do. The next big project is to create space for starting to grow food. We live a simple life here and eat as healthy as possible. Happy to cater for all dietry requirements.
Professionally, we make unique handcrafted pieces. We are looking for a detail oriented person to help teach us about how Social media works. Also help to create a space in garden for growing.
We love meeting new people who are out traveling the world, challenging their social norms and therefore making the planet a better place for everyone to coexist! This workaway post is for someone who looks at life with an out-of-the-box approach. Being proactive, being respectful and getting involved are going to get you far.
Come and make lifelong friends, learn skills share your knowledge and create something tangible. In return we promise an amazing stay with us, surrounded by unspoilt nature and full of adventure.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are really multi -culti, encompassing different ethic origins and cultures. From the food we eat, the languages we speak and our many ways of doing things - it's all a miss mash that works! Two well travelled and lived people have a lot to share. We love to cook and go on long walks as much as sitting in the garden reading from our lifetime collection of books.
We offer a glimpse into a different way of living, a slower way of living away from consumption and the fast lane. A way where you are connected to nature directly.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

We live in a detached house, in a small village. You will have your own bedroom. We have a choice of many areas and rooms around the house to work in/relax in.. You are able to come in and out of the main house as you please. Food will be provided breakfast and dinner. One of us is vegetarian and the other one not, so you will eat together with us if you wish.
What else ...
We are only 3 kilometres from the nearest city, regular bus service -takes 30 minutes. We travel regularly by car to the city too. Located at the foothills of the central Balkan mountains, there are many places to go hiking, fishing and horse riding. The woods start at the end of the street and the river runs right through the village with lovely places to go and sit.
