We invite you to join us at our family owned guest ranch situated amidst some of British Columbia’s most beautiful Canadian wilderness. With rolling hills and hidden lakes, secret meadows and secluded trails to explore under vast Western skies, our guest Ranch is the perfect backdrop to your Canadian adventure.
Our wonderful 285 acre ranch is located in British Columbia’s South Cariboo region. We’re surrounded entirely by boundless forest range, quite simply the perfect location. The ranch is conveniently located en route between Vancouver and the Rocky Mountain parks of Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff.
For a couple of weeks from 28th June until 12th July, we are looking for a volunteer to help with general housekeeping and support in the kitchen/dining room at meal times. There will be time throughout the day to socialize with guests, and horses alike, but it should be clear that we are not looking for a wrangler or anyone to ride out with clients and riding is not part of the role.
Guests and staff eat and play together and we do our best to find friendly and encouraging staff to guarantee our guests have a wonderful time during their stay with us. We are looking for positive, upbeat volunteers who can contribute to that atmosphere.
There will be a private suite with private bathroom available for our volunteer. Bed linens and towels will also be provided.

This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Our wranglers are from New Zealand, the owners are originally British and our clients are from all over the world. It's a great way to meet new people from a variety of backgrounds and spend time in the Canadian wilderness in a ranch environment.
Volunteers will be cleaning our suites and cabins and tidying them up daily when the guests head off for their morning ride. This position is not set hours as the work is spread out through the day and timing will vary. There is also a bit of help needed with setting tables, prepping food and clearing up. We also at times require help bug spraying the horses and laundry.
