Description
Hi, I'm David. I'm currently living at Budapest with my beautiful wife and 2 wonderful sons. I grew up in a small town called Kiskunfélegyháza in the middle of Hungary. Part of my family is from a village nearby, called Pálmonostora. They used to live on a farm for generations. I also spent most of my childhood there. My father started to host events there in the '90s. You know, puszta, pálinka, horses, folk music etc. It was a venue of so many joyful and lively events such as weddings, family and business gatherings.
After a series of unfortunate events this part of my heart remained empty.
I'm looking for reliable people who would keep the spirit of the place.Types of help and learning opportunities

Have you ever thought enjoying nature right at your doorstep? Making egg for breakfast fresh from the barn, baking your own bread, growing plants, making cheese? If you would like to experience the life in the Hungarian countryside without a life changing commitment, I think it's a good alternative and it worths a try here. Some farm buildings are also available for animals. It is not expected to keep animals, it's just an option. Currently there are some farm cats keeping the mice away. But they won't stop you from bringing your own pets.
There is an active international community nearby. Folks are friendly, but you can enjoy solitude, if this is what you are looking for.Help
All I need is house sitting. There are buildings for animals already, but it's not expected of you to use them. It's just an option. So basically I'm offering a fully equipped house to stay and I'm asking to take care of it and it's surroundings.

Traditional farm house with bedroom, bathroom and dining room. It was renovated a couple of years ago. The kitchen is in a separate building.
What else ...
You can enjoy events organised by the village nearby. Or if you are looking for a bigger city experience, Kiskunfélegyháza and Szeged are close by bus/car.
There are spas in the neighbouring towns. There are many horse riding possibilities. National park with bird sanctuary is right next to it.
