    Description

    Hello everyone, I'm Giuseppe,
In addition to the animals, I live in this house with my three children (5/10/13 years old), whom I share with my ex-partner. This means the children are not here for the whole week. Who comes here does not have to be fully responsible for my children, but sometimes you may have to look out for them for an hour. I have a shop selling vintage objects and furniture in the city center (Lucca). I'm also a restorer and carpenter, and I work in the shop and also at home, I work with iron and build many wooden objects. I have an outdoor workshop that I can share with whoever is here! I have two small B&Bs which I may need some help with before and after the guests arrive.
Also, here it is necessary to have a driving license usable in Italy, better if with personal car. However in the winter I can only host one volunteer at a time, but from spring during the summer I accept couples/pairs.

  • Help

    Help

I am looking for help in managing the time the children will be with me.(not every day, but only on the days I have them and only or 1 hour if I have to accompany one of them down the hill for some activity...).
And also help in managing the large garden and the olive grove. need to manage chickens,1 small dog and potted plants! I repeat that I am not directly in the city but there are buses that go to the city and have stops but they are not close to the house. Better if you have a car or at least a driving license! I have a second car (an old Fiat Panda), which we could share but not all the time, so maybe it's better o come see with a car..

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You can stay in a studio with a small kitchen and a comfortable bathroom with bidet and shower ( there are some photo). We will share spring water and a wood-fired boiler. But if you want to sleep in your tent, no problem, there is plenty of land here and in that case I will let you use the bathroom and toilets in the house.

The accommodation available is a studio flat in an old renovated cottage, with exclusive use of part of the garden. The studio flat has a kitchenette. I would prefer to contribute to the cost of ingredients so that I can cook for myself, or perhaps give up a few hours a week and manage my meals completely independently. I am open to several options! I can certainly contribute to providing ingredients for breakfast and lunch together during the first few days.

    What else ...

The house is surrounded by nature at 350 meters above sea level, there are many paths for walks from 20 minutes to several hours, we have the sea just 25 minutes away, the Apuan Alps 45 minutes, the city of Lucca 15 minutes, Pisa and Florence can be reached in 45 minutes, but if you want to stay at home you will not fail to enjoy the silence and regenerating peace of this place, or perhaps use my well-stocked workshop!
