  Hi there, we're Katja & Michele & V**, an German-Italian family with a lovely dog. We live in the middle of the alps, in a small village, having a big garden and hiking trails starting right beyond the yard. We are looking for an helping hand during the month of august to look after V** (6 years) while we are working, so please contact only if this time-window will fit.
  In addition we are looking for some gardening help in springtime and autumn for short stays.

  In our bilingual family, you have the opportunity to learn or improve your Italian. Having lived in both countries for extended periods, we can tell you a lot about the differences and similarities between the two cultures. We primarily cook Italian food, so we can give you an insight into Italian cuisine.
  
  We'd be happy to go on hikes or excursions together to the most beautiful places in the area. Look forward to crystal-clear rivers, green meadows, and turquoise mountain lakes. Enjoy breathtaking views and the highest mountains in Europe.

  In unsere zwei-sprachigen Familie hast du die Möglichkeit italienisch zu lernen oder zu verbessern. Da wir in beiden Ländern für längere Zeit gelebt haben, können wir dir einiges über die Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten der beiden Kulturen erzählen. Bei uns wird überwiegend italienisch gekocht, so dass wir dir einen Einblick in die italienische Küche geben können.
  Wir können gerne gemeinsame Wanderungen oder Ausflüge zu den schönsten Orten in der Gegend unternehmen. Freu dich auf glasklare Flüsse, grüne Wiesen und türkisfarbene Bergseen. Wunderschöne Aussichten und die höchsten Berge Europas.

  Help

  We are looking for a German-speaking au pair to look after our daughter 5 days a week, playing with her, doing crafts, playing in the garden, riding her bike, cooking lunch, and, most importantly, speaking German. I work 20 hours a week and am not at home during that time. Michele works from home and is therefore available in case of emergency.

  Wir suchen eine deutsch-sprachige Au-Pair, die 5 Tage/Woche auf unsere Tochter aufpasst und mit ihr spielt, bastelt, im Garten spielt, Fahrrad fährt, mittags kocht und vor allem deutsch spricht.
  Ich arbeite 20Std/Woche und bin in der Zeit nicht zu Hause. Michele arbeitet von zu hause, ist im Notfall also erreichbar.

  Accommodation

  You will have your own room with a bed/sofa (with a proper mattress) and a desk. A private bathroom with a shower is also available in the basement. You can use the shared spaces, such as the living room, dining room, and kitchen, just like we do. The large garden with a hammock and other garden furniture is also available for everyone to use.
  
  Since food and cooking are very important to us, we would like to have main meals together, which we would enjoy preparing together.

  Du wirst in deinem eigenen Zimmer mit Bett/Sofa (mit richtiger Matratze) und Schreibtisch übernachten. Auch ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche steht dir im Keller zur Verfügung. Die gemeinsamen Räume wie Wohn- und Esszimmer sowie Küche kannst du genauso nutzen wie wir. Der große Garten mit Hängematte und anderen Gartenmöbeln steht ebenso gemeinschaftlich zur Verfügung.
  Da uns Essen und Kochen sehr wichtig ist, wünschen wir uns gemeinsame Hauptmahlzeiten zu denen wir gerne gemeinsam kochen.

  You're in a true hiking paradise! The ascent to the Monte Rosa glacier is only 30 minutes away by bus or car. We're happy to help you plan your mountain tours or join us for easy family hikes.

  Du befindest dich bei uns im absoluten Wanderparadies. Der Aufstieg zum Gletscher Monte Rosa ist nur 30min mit Bus oder Auto entfernt. Wir unterstuetzen dich gerne deine Bergtouren zu planen oder mit uns gemeinsam einfache Familientouren zu machen.
