    Description

Welcome to our coastal escape along the beautiful Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. We manage a curated collection of beach homes and self-catering accommodation, with a focus on comfort, tranquillity and exceptional guest experiences. Our days are filled with ocean air, coastal living, and the rewarding work of preparing beautiful homes for guests from all over the world.
We are passionate about hospitality, high standards, good teamwork and creating memorable stays for our guests. If you enjoy being part of a positive, organised and professional team, this is a place where you’ll feel right at home.

    Our Project
We’re looking to welcome Workawayers who can support our housekeeping team, general property care, garden help, and light maintenance—depending on your strengths and interests. Our aim is to provide a supportive environment where you can learn, grow and experience authentic coastal living while contributing meaningfully to our daily operations.
We often prepare homes for check-ins, assist with guest amenities, keep outdoor areas beautiful, and help with small projects around the properties. Every day is different, but the atmosphere is always friendly and purposeful.

    Why You'll Love It Here
Our houses are located close to some of the most breathtaking beaches on the Dolphin Coast. Think early morning walks, warm weather, tidal pools, vibrant markets, surf cafés and a relaxed coastal lifestyle. The area is safe, community-oriented and full of nature.

    You’ll get to enjoy:
    Nearby beaches and marine life
    Warm and friendly local culture
Opportunities to learn about hospitality and property care
A chance to be part of a team that values kindness, communication and pride in work.

Who We Are as a Team
Our team is a small but dedicated group who genuinely care about what we do. Stephanie, the operations manager, is hands-on, passionate and deeply committed to hospitality, training and creating meaningful experiences for both guests and team members.

    We also work with:
Housekeepers who take pride in maintaining high standards
Maintenance assistants who help keep homes functioning beautifully
Garden and pool caretakers who ensure outdoor spaces stay lush and clean
Support staff who assist with admin, arrivals and guest communication
We all work together closely, communicate kindly and make sure everyone feels supported.

    What We Value
Respect, reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude. We love volunteers who take initiative, enjoy learning new skills, and appreciate the beauty of coastal living. In return, we offer a welcoming environment, a chance to grow and the opportunity to be part of something meaningful.

    Accommodation

We offer clean and comfortable shared accommodation for our Workawayers in a two-bedroom apartment.

2 x Single bed rooms suitable for one person per room.
The apartment includes a shared bathroom (shower, toilet, and basin with hot water).
There is a small shared lounge area and a basic, equipped kitchen with a fridge.
Laundry facilities are available at the main house.

Please note that this is a shared living environment, and spaces such as the bathroom, kitchen, and lounge are communal for the volunteers.

When we have no guest bookings, volunteers are welcome to enjoy certain facilities on the property, including the swimming pool, nearby beaches, and tennis court. It’s a peaceful and scenic setting to relax in your downtime.

    PLEASE NOTE: Food and Meals
We provide basic weekly essentials, including bread, milk, fruit, tea, coffee, sugar, and basic condiments.
We do not provide groceries or cooked meals or full catering.
Volunteers are responsible for buying and preparing their own meals and should budget accordingly for additional groceries during their stay.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During your time off, there’s plenty to enjoy in and around the Dolphin Coast. The area is known for its gorgeous beaches, warm ocean, cafés, local markets and relaxed coastal lifestyle. You can spend your afternoons swimming, exploring tidal pools, visiting nearby nature reserves, browsing boutique shops, or discovering some of our favourite local coffee spots. There are also lovely coastal walks and viewpoints perfect for sunrise lovers.

    Transport:
Public transport is limited in our area, so many volunteers choose to use local taxis or rideshare services for short trips. Everything is fairly close by, and we can happily guide you on the best options. Occasionally, our team may assist with lifts when possible, depending on schedules.

    House Rules & Living Style:
We live and work in a calm, respectful and organised environment. We appreciate volunteers who are tidy, considerate and mindful of shared spaces.

    A few helpful guidelines:
Keep your room and shared areas clean and tidy.
Respect quiet hours, especially in the evenings.
Be considerate of other volunteers and staff who share the space.
No parties or loud gatherings on the property.
Please treat the home and facilities as you would your own.
We value a peaceful, friendly atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and safe. If you enjoy simple, community-oriented living and appreciate the beauty of the coast, you’ll settle in wonderfully.
