This is a non-profit organization that manages an ecological finca located in Barranco de la Palma, in the municipality of Agaete, Gran Canaria, within the Tamadaba Natural Park.
The finca is an old abandoned plantation of approximately 15,000 m², currently in a process of ecological recovery and restoration.
We are now in the second phase of the project 2026 after some years break, mainly focused on the design and implementation of an integral water system, the construction of a materials and tools storage facility, and the development of a reforestation plan that is already underway.
We work in a natural, isolated environment of high ecological value, ideal for people looking for an authentic, simple experience deeply connected with nature.
We are looking for volunteers who enjoy a simple lifestyle, have good physical condition, responsibility, initiative, and a genuine interest in nature, ecological restoration, and community projects.
This project is ideal for people who want to disconnect from the urban rhythm, reconnect with the land, and be part of a real environmental regeneration process.
The minimum stay is one month, with the possibility of extending it up to a maximum of two months, depending on the motivation and commitment of the volunteers.

La finca es una antigua plantación abandonada de aproximadamente 15.000 m², que actualmente se encuentra en un proceso de recuperación ecológica y puesta en valor.
Nos encontramos en la segunda fase del proyecto 2026 luego de una pausa, centrada principalmente en el diseño e implementación de un sistema integral de agua, la construcción de un almacén de materiales y herramientas, y el desarrollo de un plan de reforestación que ya está en marcha.
Trabajamos en un entorno natural, aislado y de alto valor ecológico, ideal para personas que buscan una experiencia auténtica, sencilla y profundamente conectada con la naturaleza.
Buscamos un perfil de voluntario/a que disfrute de una vida sencilla, tenga buena condición física, responsabilidad, iniciativa y verdadero interés por la naturaleza, la restauración ecológica y los proyectos comunitarios.
Este proyecto es ideal para personas que quieran desconectar del ritmo urbano, reconectar con la tierra y formar parte de un proceso real de regeneración ambiental.
La estancia minima es de un mes con posibilidad a extenderla un maximo de dos meses dependiendo de la motivacion de los voluntarios.

Travellers have the opportunity to closely experience the development of a project in a very special place in the municipality of Agaete. Through their participation, they can learn how a finca is recovered and managed in a natural environment, gaining knowledge about self-sufficiency processes such as water collection and management, and the reforestation of a degraded area.
The experience allows them to approach a simpler way of life, more connected to the land, sharing daily life with the project team and other volunteers. Cultural exchange happens naturally through coexistence, working together, and collective organization.
In addition, travellers can practice languages, get to know the local culture and the environment of Agaete, and deepen their relationship with nature in a context far from the urban rhythm, in a space of high environmental value within the Tamadaba Natural Park.

Las personas viajeras tienen la oportunidad de vivir de cerca el desarrollo de un proyecto en un lugar muy especial del municipio de Agaete. A través de su participación, podrán conocer cómo se recupera y gestiona una finca en un entorno natural, aprendiendo sobre procesos de autosuficiencia como la captación y gestión del agua y la reforestación de un espacio degradado.
La experiencia permite acercarse a una forma de vida más sencilla y conectada con el territorio, compartiendo el día a día con el equipo del proyecto y otros voluntarios. El intercambio cultural se produce de manera natural a través de la convivencia, el trabajo en común y la organización colectiva.
Además, los viajeros podrán practicar idiomas, conocer la cultura local y el entorno de Agaete, y profundizar en la relación con la naturaleza en un contexto alejado del ritmo urbano, en un espacio de alto valor ambiental dentro del Parque Natural de Tamadaba.

We are currently in the second phase of development of the project, mainly focused on:
- Design and implementation of an integral water system
- Design and construction of a materials and tools storage facility
- Development of a reforestation plan in the upper area of the finca (already in progress)
The work takes place in a natural, rugged environment of high ecological value, with a practical, collaborative approach and deep respect for the land.
15 hours per week- 2 days off- Days and times are flexible and coordinated by the association. The association provides daily round-trip transportation between your accommodation and the farm (approximately 10 minutes by car).//

Food is not included.
Each volunteer must organize their own meals.
During workdays, any food or water needed must be brought in advance by the volunteer, as there are no services available in the work area.

Nos encontramos en la segunda fase de desarrollo del proyecto, centrada principalmente en:
- Diseño e implementación de un sistema integral de agua
- Diseño y construcción de un almacén de materiales y herramientas
- Desarrollo de un plan de reforestación en la zona alta de la finca (ya en curso)
El trabajo se realiza en un entorno natural, agreste y de alto valor ecológico, con un enfoque práctico, colaborativo y respetuoso con el territorio.

Accommodation
La finca cuenta con una pequeña casa que no está habilitada para vivir, pero se utiliza como base durante las jornadas de trabajo.
El alojamiento de los voluntarios se realiza en la Finca/Hotel Oaxaca, en Agaete, donde hemos habilitado un espacio compartido de pernocta. Allí los voluntarios dispondrán de:
- Espacio para dormir
- Baños y duchas
- Zona para cocinar
👉 La comida no está incluida.
👉 El espacio es compartido con otros voluntarios.
Al tratarse de un entorno de hotel rural, se requiere un alto nivel de respeto y convivencia.
Además, al alojarse en una finca-hotel, existen normas básicas de convivencia, entre ellas:
- 🤫 Respeto de horarios de descanso y silencio

-🤝 Respeto absoluto hacia otros voluntarios, el equipo del proyecto y los huéspedes

La zona de trabajo en el barranco es un sitio agreste donde NO se dispone de servicios:

The finca has a small house that is not suitable for living, but it is used as a base during the workdays.
Volunteers are accommodated at Finca/Hotel Oaxaca in Agaete, where we have prepared a shared sleeping area. Volunteers will have access to:

As this is a rural hotel environment, a high level of respect and good coexistence is required.
In addition, since accommodation is in a finca-hotel, there are basic house rules, including:

En su tiempo libre, las personas voluntarias pueden hacer senderismo, escalada y deportes relacionados. La finca cuenta con una zona de baño en una playa de callaos. El pueblo de Agaete ofrece una gastronomía muy variada, un puerto pesquero, piscinas naturales, el espacio cultural TEA y algunos bares muy animados. Asimismo, en la isla de Gran Canaria existe una amplia oferta de turismo activo y cultural. Hay una línea de guagua pública entre Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y La Aldea que pasa por nuestra carretera.
In the free time, helpers can go hiking, climbing and associated sports. The farm has a bathing area on a pebble beach. The town of Agaete has a very varied gastronomy, a fishing port, natural pools, the TEA cultural space and some very fun bars. Likewise, on the island of Gran Canaria there is a wide range of active and cultural tourism. There is a public bus line between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and La Aldea that passes by our road.
