Description
I live in this area für over 20 years and love it for its closens to the park Augarten, the Danube Island and also the city center is easy to reach. Everything you need is just around the corner. And it is an area where a lot of typical Viennese old house still stand: I love those flats with high cealings, brick walls and wodden floors.
My two lovely cats need someone to look after them while I am on an artist residency. -

Cat Sitting
Location
Vienna, Austria — Brigittenau (20th district), right next to Augarten park
Dates
September 4st – September 15th (12 days)
The Place
A typical old Vienna apartment (Altbau) in a quiet courtyard setting (Hinterhaus). The flat spans two levels — connected by a spiral staircase — from the raised ground floor (Hochparterre) up to the first floor. It's located in a peaceful back building, yet very well connected: tram line 5 and buses just around the corner, U-Bahn lines U4 and U6 within walking distance. Augarten, one of Vienna's largest and most beautiful parks, is practically on your doorstep.
The apartment includes:
A small kitchen (which also contains the bathroom with a bathtub)
A separate toilet
A living room
A workspace / study
A bedroom
There is also a second, separate unit (22 sqm) with its own entrance, which is rented out to a tenant.
The Cats
Two wonderful cats need your care:
Nono — a 2-year-old black-and-white male. Bright, curious, and extremely food-driven. He loves to cuddle and is very friendly by nature. With people he doesn't know yet, he's initially reserved — but after about 24 hours of observing you, he usually makes the first move himself.
Meru — a 16-year-old black female. Equally affectionate, she sleeps a lot and will come by for cuddles or to sleep next to you in bed.
Both cats are healthy and easygoing companions.
Your Tasks
Cat care (daily):
Dry food is always available — just keep the bowl topped up
Wet food is given in the morning and evening, plus a small portion whenever they ask for it
Important: Nono tends to eat Meru's wet food too — please make sure Meru gets her share
Fresh water must always be available
Two litter boxes: scoop out poop as soon as you notice it (flush in the toilet without the litter — the litter goes in residual waste). Full litter change approximately once a week
Play and cuddle time — especially with Nono, who has energy to burn.

A tidy person who treats the apartment with respect.
