Description
Join Us in Victoria, BC – Active Outdoor Work, Comfortable Stay
We’re looking for up to five Workawayers to join us during the following dates:
🗓 October 25 – November 8, 2025
🗓 March 21 – April 11, 2026
Couples and friends traveling together are very welcome. We have a comfortable home in a very convenient, safe, central area of Victoria, close to parks, shops, and the ocean. You'll have your own private bedroom, high-speed internet, and a warm, welcoming environment with good food and helpful hosts.
The Work:
We need help with outdoor and household tasks, including:
Spreading mulch
Pruning shrubs and small trees
General yard and garden maintenance
Cleaning and other small projects around the home
This is physical work, so you’ll need to be reasonably fit and have suitable clothing and footwear for working outside in changing weather. No specialized experience is needed—just a good attitude and a willingness to help.
We’re organized, clear about what’s needed, and always working alongside you when possible. You won’t be left guessing!
About Us:
We’re a down-to-earth, friendly couple who enjoy gardening, cooking, family time, and good conversation. We’ve hosted many Workawayers and love creating a space that’s both productive and welcoming.
Meals & Household Info:
We share meals based on what we normally eat (including dairy and eggs) and can accommodate vegetarians.
We cannot accommodate special diets such as vegan, keto, gluten-free, or nut-free.
Non-smoking only.
We have no pets.

Our place is very centrally located and near the buses so you will be close to much of what the beautiful garden city of Victoria has to offer.

We are looking for garden and yard work primarily. Experience in this area is a plus. Cleaning and home maintenance experience are also very useful. Landscaping experience would be excellent.
